i still use two crockpots (one was removeable) and the other is the little one that they had for 3 something about four years ago - i still use both a lot and they have taken a beating and still work well - they were so cheap they don't have any name brand on them, i can't complain about performance or price:no:

does anyone have info on dunham's bf ad? i am looking for a free standing basketball hoop for my son and since wm doesn't have one this year i am looking around ... i haven't seen dunhams ad yet though:confused:

some walmarts do pull merchandise so they don't have to pricematch - my walmart pulls the new madden ps2 game every year b/c cc runs it at 29.99 about 2 weeks after it is released - i looked for it at walmart last year to pricematch and i asked the girl in electronics where it was and she said she didn't know... i know they pulled it b/c the sticker to stock the item was taken off the shelf and there was an empty hole where i had seen the game the week b4

i think up until now BB is kicking walmart's ass with the ads and i don't know if wally world is going to be able to pull it off with the addition of bb new 7 hour sale items - they kick butt - we'll have to see... but there is a good chance that walmart will lose a big chunk of the crowd to folks trying to get the bb deals

call your local walmart and check - last year my walmart wouldn't match target's prices b/c the nearest one is 40 miles away, but i called last night and the courtesy desk girl checked with a manager and they said they would price match target and the new BB from the next town - i think they are afraid of losing shoppers to there, so call and check with your store , they can give you a definite answer

I just called my local walmart in central pa and they said they would pm the bb and target stores 40 miles away which is an improvement b/c last year they would not:D

i always stocked up on faded glory jeans for the kids and hubby, but this year i don't know if they will be having them?

i hope it is a new bundle of a desktop to compete with BB - although i would imagine more people will be lining up for a laptop deal if they come anywhere close to the rumored 199 laptop that everyone was expecting in the ad that didn't materialize

please try to find out what the secret 8 are - some of us can't take the suspense :

so if i call my walmart they should be able to tell me ahead of time where tickets for the big items will be lining up ??(it sounds as if they have a gameplan for all of the people they are expecting)

am hoping a desktop is one of those items that will be cheap

if walmart plans on having lots of shoppers on BF they better release some better deals in the real BF ad - they won't get it from the blah deals listed in the adscan

target's ad looks alot better than wm

my bro has a samsung DLP 50' and it is incredible - if you can't afford a plasma i would definitely shoot for a DLP

unless walmart releases a sale flyer with other stuff in it i don't think they will have to worry about riots -lol saving $5 isn't worth fighting over:chairshot

that had to be only part of the ad b/c their regular sunday ad is at least 25 pages - there will be toys on sale - trust me, i hit Boscovs every year and most of their toy sales you can get at 10am still (i don't go there until after walmart, toys r us and cc)

they do have bf sales but they only carry a limited number of non food items and all of their electronics are an off brand, although i got a barbie b-book 'computer' for my daughter two years ago and it was $20 cheaper than walmart had it for:confused:

I was on a couple of hours ago and there was someone asking how to send scans of the Kohl's ad to Brad and now it is gone... did they send the ad??? Is it being scanned or posted?? Just curious b/c the walmart ad sucked so bad i need to find somewhere else for my first stop:(

last year some of the pallets at my wm were wrapped in clear cellophane under the black plastic. the employees protecting the pallets took off the black so we could see which pallet was which but left the cellophane on so you couldn't take anything off the pallet. i was waiting by the CP kids and the lady there took off the cellophane too so we could see the sex, bd and name of the dolls and we sorted them (on the pallet) but we appreciated her letting us do that so we didn't take any early

if your kids are using AA or AAA batteries in their electronics, buy the Kodak charger at walmart with the batteries in the digital camera section. These batteries recharge on the pack and last a loooong time. then when the batteries die, you just charge them back up. you can pick up a charger with 4 batteries for $11 and one with double and triple AAA's for under $20. it will save you a bunch in the long run

how old are your kids and are they boys or girls? My son is 12 and the hot games for that age are Mario hoops 3 on 3 and metroid. my daughter wants the new mario 64 and lego star wars. both of my kids love the nintendogs but i think they are only for DS

no, i got the cinderella special release last year for $10 at cc - they normally have the best prices on the new releases, but they have very limited quantities and long checkout lines - i always go back to the car stereo installation checkout b/c most people don't know that they can check out there:)

i just checked walmart.com and when you click on elmo tmx it says only in stores i wanted to get one for my neice, but i am not willing to go broke for it - she is only two and won't know the difference between a regular 'melmo' and 'melmo tmx' (lucky for me)
