They will charge the shipping unless you have one of the Target cards and you use that. I always order the Blu rays and video games online so I make sure that I get them and I don't have to fight the crowds for the smaller things.

I just looked at the ad and its on sale for $24.99. I was on my way to Ulta last year to get a new flat iron when I stopped in TJMaxx for some socks. The same exact one that I was going to pay retail for was at TJMaxx. I will definitely try this brand next time. None of my flat irons have ever lasted past 2 years no matter the price so I stopped spending the money!

I have seen some things that I would "like to have" that are not anything that I need to be up all night for. I like going out and shopping when I don't have the pressure of having to get that specific item. Always with the DVD's, video games, etc., I just take what is left. If I really wanted and needed it, I would have already bought it! I am POSITIVE this will change when DD gets into the big ticket items!!!

Nothing out there to get excited about so far. Waiting on biggies like everyone else to be posted... But no matter how much I think that " I don't need anything advertised' I still manage to find myself on the computer in the middle of the night on Thanksgiving and going out the next morning! I have been doing it so long that I feel like I am going to miss out on something!!! lol

I was sitting in line for my SIL for a laptop when I saw everything being opened at 8p - even the 10p and 12 a stuff. I felt bad for the people that came at 9 and wanted to "wait" for the 10pm stuff - it was already picked over

I have found some items that were "hot" and I missed out on left in the apparel dept in Walmart.... that's where I start first when the frenzy is over...lol..

My Black Friday days started with Tickle Me Elmo year. I walked right by a whole end cap (did not have kids then) and could have bought 25 the week before the frenzy started. I tried to convince my friend that her son was too young to even be upset if he didn't get one and to sell the one she bought..lol. I always loved going to Kmart on Tday for a few items and then back to the casa after tracking down a newspaper (the yogurt store was always closed and I would get their paper on Tday) and plot my course with my red sharpie! No need for calling anyone because everyone was at the house for dinner and we were all there grabbing at the same ads to see what we wanted the next morning. I miss old Black Friday....

Last year I went with SIL to get some doorbusters at Walmart for the 10pm sale. ALL the doorbusters for ALL of the different times were opened. People that came for the 12 AM doorbusters were shocked to see that it was already gone.

I am still surprised when I see my dd (10) playing with Littlest Pet Shop stuff!! Which is great since we have everything..lol. That and her DS's (reg and 3d) - great for boring shopping trips and long ride alongs!

My DD loves the duct tape thing also. She recently got the kit to make knit hats/scarves at Michaels. I wasn't sure that she would do it but she has been mass producing them for her friends. That may be something she would like also! We recently moved so that would be a great idea! We bought her an aquarium for being such a big help in the move.... Maybe fish to match...lol

I have to say that I have been blessed with a very grateful dd - she is 10. She never really asks for anything. However, when it comes to Christmas and her birthday that makes it miserable for me.... I make her watch every commercial and then watch her reaction...lol. We still go to Toys R Us to make out a list in which I add stuff myself because its so short.... last year was the dreaded "Santa" unveiling. Now she is convinced that everything is too expensive. (My dh was layed off mid year, but we have rebounded). I am not big on the gift card thing right now... I need ideas!!!!!

I am so glad that you posted this... I am on the fence and it is a one day sale today at Best Buy and I was going to get it. We have Skylanders for my dd who is 10 so I thinking that this may be too immature for her. You helped me decide to wait and spend the money in another area ! DD has had hers hidden in the closet since last March! She saw the Booms and I just looked at her and said " no off button".... that cured her!

I remember Black Friday Shopping when it was just the "secret club" - when everyone knew the unofficial Black Friday Rules and helped each other get the toys, items that they needed.. But I do like shopping from my bed in jammies! lol

That's all grandma ha when we were growing up....yummy!

I received all if the emails for my items .... TOO many. So I checked my target account and at 3 am when I thought my basket was dumped (no confirmation email, nothing) it was processed. Do i ended up placing 2 orders! Nothing I can do now. I will have to take one whole order back!

I have the "itch" to go but just home from family and too tired. Definitely will check tomorrow!!
