I was just curious after I went shopping with my dh the other night ( he HATES shopping) if your DH/SO knows what you spend on Xmas ? My Dh was in :no: he could no believe it. he saw the FP camera i got our 4 yr.ols and about sh*t his pants. he said,"are you freakin kidding me!!" I said welcome to my world and trying to find things and not pay a ton and doing price adjustments. He said ,":yup: I am glad I don't ask what you spend or go with you! I think I like not know after all and plan to keep it that way" my dh has ZERO interest in shopping for anything . he is a day before Xmas in and out of store guy. I think it was really funny he had no idea what toys cost until he went shopping with me. I said well what do we get the baby for her b-day how about this 35.00 zebra you ride on he said nothing and had this:confused: look on his face. i guess he gets off easy not doing any of the shopping, but I really enjoy shopping. I don't think he willlaugh anymore when I do a price adjustment to save 7.00 now that he knows what toys cost.

our Walmart has track and that on clearance its been sitting there for months so you cna check that as well at your walmart

I cancelled myorder it was a fly wheel xpv plane.they were rude when Icalled to cancel it. she looked it up and then said ok done.then hung up.not anything else I can do for you or anything Ihave bought things and the label is on the box. I brought it back to our local TRU and they didn't want it because thelabel was onit . Isaid ya well try giving it to child from SANTA! Isaid crdit myaccount and keep the doll.she said wedon't sellthem here at the store so we won't take it.I told herYES you do.I found the dolls and she had to take it then

I have only one son and this year he is hard to shop for! his list is as follows from SANTA: a new twin mattresss for top bunk a 3rd pair of addidas shoes Chicago Bears Jersey Movie-CLICK we got the jersey,and the movie mattress will be a gift card from us:hand weights rubiks cube clothes BIG trouble we did away with video games he became addicated and not very nice fromplaying them so much. he decided to sell his on ebay and someone bought it. I bought him the darn plane thats suppose to fly but after seeing mix reviews I ma not sureanymore on it. I have the battery and waiting for the plane to show up . its on back order atTRU Any help is great? he loves micheal Vick from the falcons and I got him a jersey last year. big time footbal nut he is

We do this kind of thing we bring toys to the hospital for the sick kids (cancer etc) .we also buy for 1 family every year. I know this means alot we at one time were in that boat. Its very hard I am thankful that we came out of it and are doing great now. Its the little things that eman the most. we buy grocery store gift certificates for food, in addition to the list they have. the kids get areal apprecitation for how lucky they are and the LOVE helping the families

I usually pickup a friend of mine up @4:30am we go to raid the ATM onelast time for the day if needed. wait in line at my first choice she just goes to help me out getting things allhershopping is done! after 2 stops we have breakfast on the run (Hardees has great breakfast sandwiches when your in rush). usually I take her home at 10am then I go back out myself to another walmart last year they still have tons of early moring blitzs left they tried to get rid of for days (new store I think is why). go home and hide allthe stuff and find the best blanket and pillow and sleep

my dds are 7 and 4 and they are both BEGGING for BABY ALIVE . I bought them each one and they are soooo annoyed because I bought aextra for ebay totry and sell. Well yesterday I brought itback once I saw how the shelves are stocked ( 20 of those dolls on a shelf here). the older dd said oh my god I cannot beleive your bringing her back I want her so much. Ijust laugh and laugh little does she know hers is in my closet locked! her older brother knows and he just rolls his eyes at me. I said Iam not spending that kind of money on a doll:smirk: Won't she be shocked

I am able to do it during the day Iwork from home. I do home daycare so when the little ones take there naps I dig out all the paper and stuff to get it done. the kids are at school accpet for 2 ofthem ages 4 and almost 1 so this time I have to be more careful the 4yr old has a great memory

I remember last year that all the bf adds for like the games ,the western bratz etc. were in the ad and that they were in this location. the dora was a Roll Back item. but the others ...my gut told me this was odd from previous experience. I had all that stuff from last year way early like the cabbage patch doll. they did not have alot out but there was probably 8-10 of each on a outside aisle were they put Bf things

i was at walmart today with the kids and saw Bf things seeming to be out. like the 2packs of cars for 5.00, monopoly for 6-8.00. candyland,chutes and ladders and memory, 4$ and change. oh and operation and sorry as well for 6-8.00. the new dora fairy was 25.00 normally 38.00! there was semitruck trailer with some cars as well for 12.00. thats all I could see I noticed that in the garden area outside ( gated and locked up ) were big tarps hanging over pallets so you can not see . the toys are stocked but nothing out of the ordianary not to much considering Xmas is coming. I thought we would have huge amounts of things but not yet. it was stocked like it was the middle of the year-odd??!!

we don't do the tins, as we know that my dh gets one from his niece EVERYYEAR:yuck: .the kids eat it and we clean up the crumbs on the floor as usual.once the carmel and cheese is gone we toss it. we use ours to store cat food in! then we just use a cup to scoop it out:cheesy:

I grab my paper fro the middle then i don't worry about someone looking for something in thepaper not finding it and grabbing it from the next one , the middle is safe;)

I have a elmo here and was going to post it on ebay:yup: but my dh said wait until after turkey day Bf to be exact! he thinks I will get more then the 60-100.00 its going for. that would be nice;) . lI am just not sure when to post this darn red guy

all 4 of mine believe ages10,7, 4, and almost 1. he made a remark about that its not real. I said were did you hear that? he said at school . I said oh well what do you think. he said I think he is wrong I said ok. that was it whew!

the spread sheet thing seems to be working for me! I made colored columns and each kid has so many spots to fill once they filled I was set. they had until yesterday to make any adjustments. I went shopping put it on layaway a good chunk of it. I cross off what I have at home or on layaway in orange and label "S" next to the things they want from Santa in red. I have now a envelope for reciepts and my list and I am set. Thanks for the great ideas everyone!

I saw those cameras by me for 59.99 at my walmart. I also saw those baby alive dolls both my girls want them:eek: they are 39.99 a week ago on walmart web site and in the store by me they are 49.99. 20.00 bucks is 20.00 bucks:D
