We always cook a link of sausage on the big grill while DH is cooking the pig for Christmas dinner. The meat market always gives it to us with the purchase of the pig. THey make it themselves and it is great. We eat it on hotdog buns with tons of mustard. Can't wait until Christmas. I begged dh all weekend to let me put my tree up.

Our house is Hardwood except for the Kitchen tiles. LOVE IT> Have the shark also. Does anyone ad anything to the water for a scent? Do they make something for that.

I bought a 7.5 foot tree pre lit at Home Depot last year for 69.00 on BF. That was the first year we had a fake tree. It was full and looked real. I am planning on using it again this year. Less mess.

I am going with the ipod touch this year as my ds10 wants the wifi option. If Zen had it I would be buying it. I just need a special feature.

It was proposed as a way to boost the economy on BF. Lots of people used to get the BF deal and put it on layaway until they got there checks. In our store the layaway line was longer than the register lines.

And do you let your children help. We have a tradition that on Christmas Eve or the day befor we bake all day. The kids have a wonderful time and it gives me special time with them. Then when family and friends come over we have snacks. We bake cheese straws, cresents, peanut butter balls, sausage balls, chocolate covered pretzels,and the favorite pigs in the blankets. Anyone else do this? What do you bake?

Just talked with a person of intrest who commented this may be coming back. For the holidays. Isn't it a little late for this?

I was a member of Costco for several years. The first year I got the coupons. Then they stopped. I called Costco and asked where the coupons were and there reply was" Some get them some don't" I am no longer a member of Costco. I asked how they determine who does and who does not and he simply said "we just do".

I take the day off. Pretty easy being DH and I own our own buisness.

Is it to early to get the set from sears that is advertised for black Friday . Then get a price adjustment on BF or Nov 16 at friends and family sale. I think I saw another set in there for 699 with the 599 set also. Sears does have the price match policy. Not sure of the timing though.

Things are not like they used to be years ago. Trick or treating is rather scary now. Do you do an alternative to trickor treating?

We have had one for several years now. I love it. It is like a portable electric heater when comparing the heat factor. I have a 34x16 living room and it will heat it with no problem. I run it to keep the gas pack from coming on so often and I love the way it looks.

Yes , We do stockings. Santa stuffs them with personal goodies and DH even gets one. A few years ago I bought the huge stockings. Mistake, Mistake, It takes lots of $$$ to fill them. Should have stuck to the small ones. But that is the first thing the kids open on Christmas morning. They love the little stuff in there. Mostly dollar store items.

Walmart had the older version in the store today on clerance if this helps anyone. I debated on it myself. Not that familar with them so do not know the difference. Does anyone think this will be a big deal of difference to a 10 year old?

We have the mercury meltdown and ds10 and ds7 love it. We also have the word coach. Very educational. I like for them to play it. They don't care for it no shooting or jumping around.

Harbor freight has some good deals on them and you can buy the warranty in case something happens.
