I so get this thread. I always had to have something "big" . Even if it was not pricey just "big". I would say a new bike or scooter or at that age my little boy got one of those little 4 wheelers. For boys 9 and 6 they will love it. My kids ds11 and ds8 go every chance they get. No need to pay for the extras. You will see just fine and get plenty to eat. My DS8 loves the soup. It is worth the show. The food is an added bonus. Have fun.
