I cant deal with this new program, need 2 to qualify and can never find 2 of same thing to buy, cant use plenti points on items that give points else you wont get them, to much of a hassle to me, nt that i blame stores i know the coupon thing was outta control, id rather pay retail and shop where ik ill get what i need

My planner consist of a piece of notebook paper n a pen, DD name on one side, DS name on the other, i write down what i buy. When i have equal gifts and the tree is full i quit. I do family usually in one day, will go to major department store and start with a name and checkout when last name is called. Very easy, i dedicate most of my time decorating or baking and spending time with family. Worse case if i forget a gift cash is always good

Thoughts out to BJS, he was always a big part of GD at this time of year, hope all is well with him and prayers hes just busy

IKR, im actually goin to a "friends" giving dinner on Sunday i cant wait to pig out.lol

Dinner is real easy at my house Turkey( cooked like Kanyon described) mashed potaoes gravy carrots, corn, green beans rolls. Thats it Picky eaters in my family, now if i was goin home there would be like 20 of us and menu would be huge. Oh well Oh and out of the 25 pd turkey i buy bout 20 pds goes in the garbage, noone eats dark meat. ik i could buy a breast only but its nt the same.

I always want to decorate early but fear of what my neighbors might think prevents me from doin it. I usually do inside weekend before Thanksgiving and outside weekend after. But this yr with a recent death in the family im doin it next week, Just need some happy spirit in the home and hell with the neighbors.lol

Im sure all stores n employess will be diff, but both dh & ds have to wrk 5-2 then 8-5 next day, so basically 3 hrs sleep.lol we are use to it but it still makes me mad. Difference is, stores never opened up this early

All these times are gettin worse and worse each year. Sears is opening at 6pm closing at 2am then opening again at 5am. like wth, poor workers wont be getting any sleep. so very sad if ya ask me
