  1. I have ordered from there 3 times now... and this last order just got shipped with the little bears. And they have great customer service when I ordered something that arrived broken they replaced it quick, no questions asked. Sorry you've had problems, but for me this site has been great.
  2. Indeed... and about 75% of my shopping is done.. .mostly through GD online hot deals forum :) I love this place :) editing to add... BF is not about Christmas shopping for me... for me ... it's about using the survey money/gift cards I have saved all year to buy myself a treat :)
  3. Maybe it will only prove that you are psychic......
  4. now that you have admitted to "exaggerating".. how are we supposed to believe you really have 3?
  5. now the question is.... Does Brad REALLY have 4 BF ads.... Or is he simply trying to see how many PM's he can get begging to see them now while promising to not tell a soul......
  6. How did you let Sears get Christmas stuff out BEFORE the GD BF forums opened? You are seriously slacking Brad... lol

  9. hmm... if this were in Indiana... the snacks would be made a day earlier.. the lists would be down to essentials and people would tag team by groups getting together and each picking a store to do everyone's shopping in order to get home in time to throw out the snacks and watch the game together... then unload the goodies from the vehicle after the game :)
  10. 12. I am getting ready to try to find a display case to put my son's baseballs on from his homeruns this year.... I don't know what they are called... my husband has one for golf balls and it's like 3 shelves with indentations for the golf balls and then he can mark on the shelf in front of them what they are from (hole in one, date, etc) Any assistance with what they are called or where to find a deal on one for my son would be awesome... as we have 2 home runs so far and we are only a quarter of the way through the season.... Thanks :)
  13. I was just able to use it a few minutes ago on an outlet item :) Thanks OP
  14. wow.. you said that a lot better than I did with a lot less typing...
  15. I am a walmart complainer... and I do continue to shop there... why? Because it's the only place less than 1 hour of my home in which to pick up lightbulbs, the bday gift for a last minute party invite, etc. I absolutely hate just walking in the doors at our walmart. But 3 min vs over 60 min drive and yes, I am going to go in there. They are rude at our walmart, they give huge probs with coupons, prices are mismarked and take forever to get them to fix it, etc. It's horrible. It's not subpar customer service... as customer service is totally non-existent. Especially from management. There are a few good workers and cashiers. Yes I go to their lines, etc when I do go in there. Of course, I utilize coupons and sale ads at our Kroger store and also shop at Aldi in an attempt to spend as little money and time in our Walmart as possible. If my coupons (doubled 50cents and under) at Kroger make an item the same or cheaper than Walmart I will buy it at Kroger. Simply I don't want to give that walmart my $$. Now I have been in wonderful Walmarts too. I fully believe it's not the workers' paychecks that effect how we are treated.. I believe it's how the management teaches them to treat us and what management expects of the workers as well. I had to go to walmart for something Kroger doesn't carry yesterday morning. The nicest door greeter ever was saving a few completely dry carts for people with both a baby and toddler that wanted the todder to sit in the back of the cart and brought it to me from her "hiding" spot. I was VERY impressed and as soon as I loaded my groceries into my van, I sent my oldest back into the store with the dry cart for someone else..... because when I am treated well, I will help them out too.... So many of us who are the complainers can't afford to drive or pay the higher prices and therefore we do feel forced to shop there when there is no other alternative close..... and I worked customer service for minimum wage in the past and never let my paycheck effect my treatment of my customers. In fact, at one point I even worked at our local walmart as a 2nd job.... and that lasted 2 months because as a worker I was treated even worse by management than what the workers treated me when I was "just" a customer....
  16. I am very jealous... I only had anything similar happen once about 4 years ago when the toy clearance was suddenly announced over the intercom that all of them were half off... and it turned out to be all clearance in the store.... I stocked up on toys for gifts and it's never happened again... Hope you got a ton of great deals!!!

  18. Thanks Patty... I do have to say the video of your kids with the Wii was an inspiration to get me started searching for deals instead of just posting one every now and then... :)
  19. ditto!!! :) My very first deal posting win... I saw my PM and I was like cause I usually don't win anything except taxi driver of the year for getting my kids to all their games and practices on time
  20. TY.. great idea.. the lady that answered the phone confirmed it's 2.00 :) A simple call the store and never thought of that... lol :)
  21. I emailed corporate about our Kmart and I didn't get any response at all. Kmart is over an hour drive and next Saturday is out of the question so tomorrow is my only opportunity to shop. Just not sure I want to chance it without the email confirmation.
