  1. My DH broke our quesadilla maker this morning. I can't be mad, it's his day off and he's cleaning the kitchen while I am at work. But we really use it a lot so I need a new one. Looking for a great deal on one if there is anything out there. I searched on here and all I found was an old deal from Amazon.com that isn't valid any longer. Let me know if anyone knows a good place to get one, on or off line.. I am in Indiana.....
  2. You apparently are not a Wii owner as there is no way on ebay they would go for only 20.00. You are probably looking at the nunchucks, not the remotes. But if you seriously found the remotes for that, please send the link to the auction themselves as the rest of us will buy them all.
  3. Went to a DG in a neighboring town just to kill some time waiting for a meeting. As soon as I walked in they had a huge cart that said "75% off" and was full of socks and underwear. Didn't find anything for my boys but found tons for both DD and granddaughter. They had Hanes and Fruit of the Loom on sale, along with several brands of socks. Now I think I might run up to our local DG tonight to see if they have anything for my 3 DS. Thanks OP for letting us know about this or I wouldn't have checked!
  4. We just finally found one about a month ago. Basically you just have to keep stopping in the stores as none of them know when they are coming. I lucked into one at Walmart. When you get a second controller (and you will eventually want one), rather than pay the 39.xx for a controller, look for Wii Play as it's a game and a controller for 49.xx. Much better deal to get a new game for only 10 bucks. I found the Wii play at Circuit City.
  5. Went to Target today as I keep reading about the Choxie bars and finally had to print a few off and go see for myself what the deal is. I was ready from the other posts to ask for a manager, but I got 8 and had no problem at all with them. In fact I got the following: Cologne for DH at 75% off... 6.24 Lip gloss set for neice at 75% off ... 2.48 Lip gloss for both DD at 75% off... total of 2.94 Sunsilk shampoo with bonus conditioner/24/7 creme at 2 oz each.. clearance priced at 1.64, manufacturer coupon of 1.00 off Sunsilk 24/7 creme with 2 oz each bonus of shampoo/conditioner.. clearance priced at 1.64, manufacturer coupon of 2.00 off (basically paid me .36 to buy this one) Two of the 2 oz purell at 1.38 each with 1.50 off coupons on each (paid me .12 each for these) Two bags of Chips at 1.99 but had 1.00 off on each Eight free 2.00 choxie bars. Total was less than 15.00 including taxes. I had similar luck at Walgreens, Walmart, and Kohls clearance isles today. I spent less than 90 in 4 stores and got a value of approximately 345.00. WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY! And to top it off the cashier at Target didn't bat an eye at all the coupons!
  6. I always see it on the right hand side after I log in. You may have to pick a school and a user name in order to see it. I never thought about it till you mentioned it. But it doesn't cost anything to get a username and there isn't any big deal made about ordering, I think I get an email once a month reminding me of the order deadline is all.
  7. I agree they are expensive, very similar in quality and price to Schwann's. The only difference is you support a local school instead of the Schwann's shareholders when you do buy. But on the other hand, it's rare that I order things not on clearance. The clearance priced food is still well in date and fresh, just they are either overstocked or discontinuing and you get great deals from the clearance things.
  8. They still show up on my webpage, maybe they leave a certain number for each participating school or something? However, I didn't have any bread mixes. I did get a couple of the strawberry cream and a lemon for my SIL for his birthday dinner.
  9. Anyone that has a local school that uses market day for a fund raiser has an opportunity to buy a great clearance deal on cheesecakes. Our local elementary sells marketday and it is normally expensive. But I go to order online at www.marketday.com and check out the clearance deals available approximately 2 weeks before the orders are due. This month they have confetti cheesecakes that are normally 10.00 marked down to 1.99. On top of that with any order you get mini banana pancakes for free. All you have to do is order online and pick up at your local school.
  10. I can't find this on the sears site any longer, I think it may be gone already.
  11. I was able to enter the "pick up at a store" box, then update price and get shipping for the cost of driving across town.... maybe try to refresh the page?
