  1. The one I got for my son was larger but I thought for the money it was worth it. My DH installed it on his wall above his desk. When he gets older it can be used as a very large monitor if he wants to. His room is also very small and space on things is at a premium. By putting it up on his wall it freed up the only space on his dresser that can hold anything.
  2. HOw much do you want to spend. I got a flat panel Dynex from Best Buy a couple months ago for $459 it was a 32 inch. We had some reward zone cash and also a 10% of to make it even sweeter. The picture is pretty good and it was fine for DS12 room.
  3. My DD9 loves HS Musical so we got this game for her for Xmas. She has played it only 2x and one of those times I had to ask her about it. She also has the Hannah Montana Wii game and LOVES THAT. She would play that all day if I let her. I am sorry I bought the HS Musical games I think it was a waste of money, I am thinking of trading it in when I go p/u the Mario Kart Wii game next week.
  4. They also have some princess ones I saw Cinderella and Ariel, if anyone has a girl who is looking for them. I just p/u a pair for my DD. Thanks for reminding me that I had to get her a pair.
  5. Wii points are used to pay for the download of older games. These games are from previous systems that get downloaded to the wii for you to play.
  6. Yes they are very popular and hard to find. Even online they are sold out. Whenever you see them grab them. I have not seen any in the stores since before Christmas.
  7. I am thinking of getting the wii ski also. It uses the same board as Wii Fit. I don't like snow, but I do like the Wii so I could be warm and ski at the same time (lol)
  8. I think it is when they ship.
  9. I just pre-ordered it along with the mat (don't want to scratch my new hardwood floors), and the rechargeable batteries. I can't wait. This is for me but DS12 has already said he wants to play too.
  10. This coupon is for next week starting Sunday 4/13
  11. Maybe something is going in my area. We had AC Moore and Michaels opened right next door. Now every sunday paper has the Michaels ad with a coupon for either 40% or 50% in it. Today I went into Michaels and when I checked out they gave me the 50% off coupon. They were giving it out to everyone purchasing something. For the last 2 weeks my Sister has been going there and getting frames with her coupons. She is doing all new frames in her house and wants them to match. So far she has purchased 7 all with coupons.
  12. If you run into a Michaels they will give the coupon. I got one today at checkout. Mine happens to be on a cream colored paper. My sister's is on an orange peach color paper.
  13. I am not sure. I think it is a special edition. I will call Gamestop tomorrow and find out. I am curious.
  14. I pre ordered it from Gamestop. It comes with a limited edition wheel. Many times the flyers for that Sunday will have possible deals.
  15. This very long. We used to love Directv, for 7 years. We sold our house in March of 2006 and we moved to Pennsylvania. Our hew house broke ground in October of 2006. When we sold our house we put our Directv account on hold because we planned to get Directv again once the house was completed. In December 2006 we started getting bills for Directv. I called them and asked how we could be getting billed for service we did not have. They said is was for our old house. WTH I had to send them proof that we sold the house in 3/06and again our account was put on hold. In 6/07 I called Directv in PA to come out and give us a site eval to see if we could gt service (we have a lot of trees and many people cannot get service because of it). I was informed that I had to "take my account out of hold" to be able to set up an appointment. This meant that we were now paying for service we did not have. I said fine. Set up an appointment for a week and half for them to come out and told them since it was a new house (no phone service yet because we did not have a C of O) gave them my cell phone # to call if there was a problem. Go to the new house with my kids and wait for (2 hours of 4 hour window) noone shows up. I call my rental house to check for messages and lo and behold there is a message from Directv that the tech coming cannot locate my house (new house but on a well established street of over 20 years). I call Directv on my cell after 45 minutes of trying to get thru finally get to speak to a person and blast them for calling a landline phone instead of the cell. Person calls the tech and says it is now too late for him to come out. Again we are still in the "4 hour window". I get so mad I go home to the rental and call them again to cancel everything. I am on the phone for the next 3 hours after being hung up on 5 times, I finally get thru to someone who actually cancels the account. When I informed him of what I have gone thru over the past 7hours, he says to me why would you want to cancel of such a little problem:mad::mad: I guess it is common to have to deal with them over a 7 hours in one day. Now we get at least one offer from them a week. I will never go back with Directv even though we have our own boxes and DVRs, the headache and the mistrust I have for them is not worth it. We have our local cable company and so far so good, plus I got the deal for a year for phone, internet and cable.
  16. Monroe NY Target has their Easter stuff 75% off today.
  17. My sister just called me and told me that T is putting in the $1 spots scrapbooking stuff for kids along with glitter nail polish and some sort of lotion. She was giving me the heads up because I am looking for goody bag stuff for DD9 birthday party in June. She will be turning 10.
  18. I have been living with 2 skinny kids DS12 and DD9. For DS I have always gotten pants for him at Sears. I get their dress slacks there too. They do have slim sizes. Old Navy is also good. For DD I get her pants at Childrens Place. They have slim sizes and it also includes the elastic adjustment too so it can get real small. My DD9 is about 45lbs so I know what skinny is. I have to say though that compared to what she was when she was born 2lbs 5ozs and at age one she was 10lbs. Good Luck. I know Childrens Place has some jeans right now for 9.99 ane under plus you can use their coupons.
  19. I guess the deal with Dell is over because I tried to get it for DH as a surprise 15th anniversary and it was up to $589. I will check out Amazon since one of the posts said it was I think $528.00 but that does not include a lens. I know he has a Rebel SLR and the lens are compatible. If anyone sees it for lower again let me know. THANKS
  20. Thanks OP. I purchased the Sports Stripe for my DS12. I have been looking for a compforter for his rooms and hopefully he will like it. Another plus is that I only had to pay the $0.97 shipping because I used the Walmart gift card that Walmart gave me for the snafu when I tried to order the Wii game Super Smash Bros Brawl a while back. If DS like the comforter it will only have cost me $0.97. :eyepoppin:eyepoppin
  21. I also saw them at Justice & Limited 2 nothing spectacular so we left them. Even DD did not care for them
  22. Are you a member of their Kid Advantage program. "If it wears out before they outgrow it Sears replaces it" if you are part of the program. I have had to take back many pairs of pants because something has happened to it and my kids had not outgrown it. If they don't have another one then at least you will get your money back.
  23. I got a coat for my DS12 at JC Penney for $11.98. Kohl's also has some really good ones for about $20.00.
  24. I live just over the NY border in PA (Milford) I drive to the Port Jervis exit on 84 and gas is $2.99. In Milford it is 3.09.
  25. You could also try short sleeve bodysuits. I used to get them from Old Navy & Gap when onesis got too small. They were great because I also used them in warmer weather as t-shirts with shorts etc.
