I thought there was a 5 year waranty on all Dysons.
-
You could call them. I have not checked any other Sears. This one is in the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area and we just happened to be there to p/u a tool chest for DH that we had ordered. It is the DC07 the Yellow one. I was told by the guy in the store that it was being discontinued.
-
I have not opened it yet since I was hoping to get a deal on it. DH went last night so today is the day to try it out. Will let you know.

Just an Update to my original post Well I purchased the Dyson from Sears for $279 last weekend. Tonight DH went back to Sears to get prices adjusted on some tools and a tool chest he purchased. He walked by the vacumns and the DC07 was marked down even further to $199. He got our receipt adjusted. Now I am even happier about getting it. I really did not want to spend too much especially after DH was out of work since August and just went back on Monday.

I just saw that. I wonder what they will have. My kids pretty much got all the games they were asking for for Xmas so I dont know if there will be any I want. Unless they include the Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge I just ordered. I hope not since I will be upset if it goes lower that what I paid:(

~DEAD~ JJ Cole Bundle Me Lite Infant 10.60 shipped!
racerfan replied to hairstylin247's topic in Online Hot Deals
Only the blue one is coming up $4.99 plus shipping. The others are all $24.95 but ship for free with Prime. I would love to get it for my DD10 teacher from 3rd grade. She is expecting her 1st baby in June and DD and I are putting together a basket for her, but we dont want to make it gender specific. (Even though the teacher said she would give the Dr a self addressed envelope to let me know what she is having lol) -

Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge
racerfan replied to racerfan's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Well since you all convinced me I ordered it thinking it would not be here until the beginning of February so would make a perfect Valentines gift to the kids. Just got notification from Amazon that it was shipped today and I will have it on Monday. Now I get to hide it until February 14th, or I will just start playing it while the kids are in school -
The maracas were $4.98 the other day.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009
racerfan replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I also miss the days of the toys. DD10 and DS13 are now mostly into electronics. I have to keep an eye out all year since electronics are so expensive. I have already started planning on next year. I think I am going to get them a LCD TV for the wall in their gameroom. Right now they have our old huge 36inch on the floor. If I can get a good deal on possibly a 42inch I think that will be their big gift. (Unless something else comes out before Xmas next year) -
It is before you get to the step with credit card. When you are in your shopping cart it is towards the top on the right side.

Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge
racerfan replied to racerfan's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Now it is $64.39. I had it in my cart and decided to go for it since I was using a gift certificate. Got it for $49.99, and it will ship in a few weeks. If it goes lower somewhere else or on Amazon I can always cancel. -
Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge

Yes I know it is backordered but I can wait for it since I would be saving the tax also instead of getting it from BB $39.99 would be even better -
Does anyone have the Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge?? I was thinking of getting it since it looks like a lot of fun. It also says there are going to be other games in the Active Life series. Please let me know. Amazon has it for $49.99 a savings of $10 plus tax and free shipping. BB has it on sale this week also for the same price. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0013LTP5Q/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61lyXrGSnBL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

My DD10 and DS13 both got laptops from Grandpa (combo birthday/Xmas) DS got and Ipod touch and a digital camera not to mention the video games. DD got a Zune and a digital camera, Mia - American Girl, skateboard and also video games. Right now they are sledding in the back yard on the ice/snow we got overnight. No school today again.
-
Yes you are saving money, but the boys gifts get more expensive as they get older the girls gifts as they get older don't seem as expensive since my DD does not go so much for all the Video games, etc. But then she is only 10. I guess I should keep my mouth shut until she gets older:D

DH got the Rebel digital for his birthday in August. It also takes this card. I am ordering him 2 from Amazon for that price. When he got the camera we went on vacation the same day and when we read it needed a compact flash card we stopped in a Best Buy on Hilton Head Island and picked one up $35 on sale:eyepoppin. I am getting him 2 more, since his hold over 500 pictures at a time so these will last a while.

Thank you Thank You!!!. We went to the American Girl store in NYC last Friday and my DD10wanted Chrissa. She also wanted to eat in the cafe there. We made a deal with her she could get the doll if we missed out on the cafe (over $140 for 4 of us to eat:eyepoppin). When I saw the price of Chrissa I said I would order her from home and at least save on the tax and hopefully find an free shipping code(we dont pay tax on American Girl in PA). With this code it save even more the doll works out to $90, I am also able to add other things to the order to save on shipping like the curlique daybed that I have been eyeing. The shipping stays the same at $5.00 Now I have officially started shopping for Birthday and Xmas for 2009:D

Panasonic 42" Plasma HDTV Television - $699.99 ($999.99) @ Sears.com
racerfan replied to noehlp's topic in Online Hot Deals
guilliam you have the same TV I have it is an LCD but it is also a rear projection tv that is why you had to have the bulb and ballast changed. With a rear projection tvs they use a bulb to show the picture. When we first bought our tv, 1 year after we got it the bulb went. Luckily we bought the BB extended warranty which covered the bulb. They replaced it and told us we would get a longer time out of the new bulb than the original one. When the bulb is replaced in a rear projection TV it is like getting a brand new TV. It has now been 3 years since we had that changed and we are waiting for it to go again. The LCD TVs that are now being sold (ones that goes on the wall) do not have a bulb in them to go since they are not rear projection tvs. I have already told DH that when the bulb goes again (it costs $400and we are now out of warranty) we will be getting a new TV and it will be going on the wall. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding, and I hope I explained it ok. I know there are certain words and terms for things but I tried to explain it the way it was explained to me. My DH actually loves his TV and it will be an argument when we have to get a new one, but I wont keep replacing the bulb unless it goes under $100 and lasts a while. I am of course knocking on wood that it does not go for a few years. -

I wish there was a Dept 56 store near me. -
I am so happy you liked everything. You had me worried when you posted about the Twilight book at Walmart because I had already gotten you the book and I was afraid you were going to get it for yourself:D Happy New Year!!!!!

Happy New Year everyone. I just want to thank my SS and my OE again for their gifts. rmV73 Thank you so much for my gifts, I really loved them and so did my kids. DD10 has confiscated the shower gel:) My Yorkie ornament is on my fireplace mantel and will remain there all year. Zoemariesmamma Thank you for the ornament. It has a special place on my tree and I love the idea of animals getting from gifts ordered. I went on the site and ordered some gifts myself. I cant wait to do this again. It was so much fun. I read that one is done in the Summer, if so I am so there. Thanks to Eve for all her hard work.

Well I have to get a new vacumn. With the cleaning for the holidays, our current vac is giving up the fight. I would like to get a Dyson. We have 2 shedders, a Black Lab and a cat, other 2 dogs dont shed plus we have 3 birds. I have been looking at the DC07 All Floors the yellow one(Sears/$280 and Circuit City/$260). I also saw the purple DC07 Animal at Circuit City for $325.00. Does anyone have either one and how is it? I know there are others, but DH will not spend the $500 for the more expensive Dyson Animal vacs. Another questions is does anyone have any coupons for either Sears or CC. I would prefer to get it at CC with a coupon and the free shipping if possible since DH would be even happier the less I spend. Thanks for all replies, I know I will get some honest answers from you guys. UPDATE: 1/09/09 Well I purchased the Dyson from Sears for $279 last weekend. Tonight DH went back to Sears to get prices adjusted on some tools and a tool chest he purchased. He walked by the vacumns and the DC07 was marked down even further to $199:eyepoppin. No that was not the problem. He has the new 8gb. DS13 has the 30GB so I will have to check it out tomorrow and see if he has any problems. DH's Zune is working fine now.
