I remember that year. I ended up getting 2 of the brown Zunes. One is sitting right next to me on my side table. DS gave it to me when he got his Ipod Touch.

Thats the library I just signed up with. As a PA resident it does not cost us anything I was going to do it with the NY Public Library also if I could.

Ok I am going to sound dumb here. What exactly can be done with Android and what exactly is it? I know there are android phones tablets etc. Can you go on the internet and browse? Do you need wi fi also with an android (phone/tablet) or is it built in to get on the internet. How does it work?? Can they be used as an ereader? Thanks for any help here. Tablets are new to me, I have not really looked into them and I know nothing about Androids.

Ebay and Buy.com have been having some refurbished Nooks for sale. In the Best Buy Black Friday ad there is a Nook wi fi doorbuster for $99.

The Library I borrow from now is a local library, they have connected with the Library of Philadelphia and we can get a card to allow us to borrow ebooks thru them on Overdrive. They have been loaning out ebooks for a while. This article I think is a little dated

Why do you say its not as easy to borrow e-books from the library? I just got an email from my local library with information on how I can get a library card with the Free Library of Philadelphia so that I can borrow ebooks thru them on Overdrive.com. I have had not problems. Our library had budget cuts and Overdrive was cut.

I think I saw it in the Target ad for BF. I need a new phone and also have Att I am not due an upgrade until December.

I dont know about cheaper books, I do know the Nook from Barnes and Noble you can borrow ebooks from the livrary thru Overdrive. That is a BIG PLUS for me since I read so much but hardly buy books because I would spend a fortune. This is reason I am getting a Nook instead of a Kindle.

Could it be upgraded to an 8gb like what the specs say? Just asking since I am on the lookout for a replacement laptop for me and this would fit the bill.

DS' laptops motherboard went so we have to get hime a new computer. He wants a desktop. I need a Laptop so will be on the lookout for both. So far my hopes are with BB since there have been no desktops yet. I need on to run an engineering program that DS is getting from his teacher at school. I saw one a few weeks ago but decided to hold out to see what BF would have.

The ones at Sears are DSis not the XL The Holiday colors for this year are Red and Green for DSi and Red Anniversay Edition for the XL. The XL normally is $169 so for $10 more you are getting the anniversary edition with Mario Kart. I ordered the Anniversary Edition XL for a cousin from Dell on Saturday for $176, a little cheaper than Amazon. They had a coupon that brought it down to $166 then add tax. I will probably be getting a blue XL from Gamestop (have a credit there) for the other cousin and then they will share the Mario Kart game.

I have a Westinghouse I bought on BF 4 years ago in 2006 at BB. Its a 32inch and I got it for $279. I have had no problems with it. I used it for a year in the rental we were in then moved and now it is on the wall in my bedroom. It is on every day for about 5 -7 hours. I have more than gotten my moneys worth with it. I don't think I will be getting the one at Target since I have several gift cards for BB and I plan on getting a 32inch for DD. Just waiting for BB's ad. If there is not a deal on a TV in there then I guess she will be getting a 40 inch lol

I just want to give a heads up. My friend's Husband is a Manager at TRU and it is supposed to be top secret that they will be opening at 10pm instead of Midnight like last year. She just told me last night. He has not seen the ad yet but as soon as he does I asked for it. Last year he knew about the Midnight opening just not what was in the ad before GD got the ad. I dont know if this is good news or bad news lol It is confirmed

The 16gb touch is a 1st and 2nd gen only. The current 4th Generation only comes in 8gb, 32gb and 64gb
