I agree the only way U would get an ereader is to be able to get books from the library. I read so much it is not cost effective for me to buy books so I always borrow from the library. Now with the Nook I can continue to do so. I have been looking at them and I will be getting a Nook. I was leery of getting the refurbished one from Ebay, otherwise I would have done so already.

I don't know if it still available but Dell had a coupon to use on the Anniversary bundle for the DSi XL which brought it down to $166 then you add tax for me the total was $174 which is less than what Amazon has it for. I ordered it on Saturday. Will look to see if I can find it. It's sold out on Dell now, but I would keep checking they usually bring their stuff back quickly and hopefully they will have another coupon.

My BB had a bin with a bunch of video games in it and the Carnival game (the 1st one) was there for $9.99. I don't know if this is at all BB.

I second the lotions, body spray, luxury items she would not normally buy for herself. Maybe a nice book, for her to relax, nice smelling soap and bath salts so she can relax in a tub. PJs are nice maybe a nice sweater (you don't know her size so get a gift receipt for the store so if it does not fit she can return it)

The DS Lite can go on the Internet but there is something extra you need for it. My kids had it but never had access to the internet. The DSI comes internet ready but I think you have to set it up. I have the DSI XL and I have not gone on the Internet since it is not set up. I know I would need to put in our access code for our Router at home, and I think you have to activate the browser that comes with it. If you dont activate it then I guess you cant go on. I wil check mine out later and post again.

THe new Xbox 360 Slim no longer has "arcade", "pro" and "elite". There are 2 versions a 4gb hard drive or 250 hd. That being said you can get either with/without Kinect the new thing thats out for Xvbox that makes you the controller. It is $199 for the 4gb $299 for 4gb with Kinect $299 for the 250gb and $399 for the 250 with Kinect. Kinect itself goes for $149. Since the Kinect came out last Thursday there have been some specials when buying it or games. Right now Amazon has the Kinect games b1g1 50% off. We just picked up the 250gb with Kinect on Saturday and I have to tell you the Kinect is a lot of fun, I love the Wii but we played the Adventures game that came with the system and all of us was having a blast, I bought other games but they are for Xmas. If the person getting the Xbox likes to save stuff for the games, then I highly recommend the 250gb HD (if you get a 4gb hd and want to upgrade its $130 unless you can trust someone on Ebay and find it there for less)With the 250gb you can save other stuff besides games and of course the Xbox also streams Netflix.

The bundle comes with Adventures. I bought Dance Central (Rave reviews) Fighters Uncaged (good reviews)and Your Shape (Rave reviews) I want to get Zumba also but that is not out yet. My kids are the following ages DS15, DD12. They each picked out a game and I picked the your shape and zumba. Kinectimals is also getting good reviews too. So far a lot of people have said that Sonic is not living up to the price tag (I wanted that one but after reading the reviews decided against it. For non kinect games DS loves Halo Reach, and has asked for the following we have preordered Call of Duty Black Ops, Assassins Creed (the new one coming out) and Star Wars Unleashed (just came out) The guitar hero series is also fun and I see DJ Hero is new also I am sure they have it for Xbox360

I recommend the 250gb That is the one we got yesterday. If you get the smaller one and later on need more space it is $130 for a 250 hard drive. My DS had the 20gb and had to delete stuff since he ran out of room. There are a lot of things they save on the HD and 4gb is not that big

How were you able to get the games at Target. You were very lucky, they would not allow me to do that. We just picked you the 250gb Xbox with Kinect today from Gamestop. DS traded in his old Xbox and a lot of games, plus we had a big credit from previous trade ins. We ended up not having to dish out any money for the new Xbox. I bought the games from Bestbuy but will be keeping an eye out for them to go lower. I can always return them to Best Buy. DS set it up tonite and they were playing the game that came with it and OMG it is a lot of fun. One of the games I got is the work out a guy at BB said its really good. We also got the Dance Central and the fighting game (forgot the name)

You can use the cards for anything on Itunes, music downloads, games, various apps. It goes in as a credit on my account.

I usually get most of my games at Amazon, That being said I just picked up 3 Xbox Kinect games since they had a buy 3 games get a $20 gift card. If I see them lower they will be going back. The Epic Disney is a pre order and Amazon is giving a $10 credit after it ships if you preorder. I have Epic Disney, Assasins Creed, and Call of Duty Black ops pre ordered and they all have pre order credits. Plus with the no tax and delivery to my house its the easiest for me. I have prime so the pre orders arrive here on day of delivery
