well, after much thought, I decided I'll probably TRY to go to Target on Black Friday. Still depends on if I'm out of town for Thanksgiving. The deal on V-TECH Smile games is a pretty good deal so I think I'll try to get one for my Nephew.

I downloaded the ZIP file. I remember this happening last year. That's why this year I signed up with a bunch of sites to email me when there are new ads. (THis site included of course).

I'm a little disappointed in the ad. At least the "Deal or NO Deal" hand held game is on sale. My dad never knows what to get me, so I buy stuff and say "Wrap this for me". I liked watching that show ever so often, so I'll get the game there. Other than that, very few dvds I'd be interested in......how about having Christmas/Holiday themed dvds or CDs on sale? I probably won't be out very long that day anyway - annual NU vs CU football game is in town, plus I don't know if I'll be home on Thanksgiving night (or out of town)......

I hope the GBA deal will be available online. I want to get myself a GBA SP. I like my regular GBA, but the GBA SP has a charger and won't eat up AA Batteries like the original GBA does.

I have never gone to Best Buy and I am sure the "select video games" they have will be the ones that no one wants, like that one episode of Simpsons when Bart wants Bonestorm, but Marge gets him the putting challenge game instead........ I do wonder what they'll have for the TV Sets. Probably Simpsons for sure.

If The Sims 2 EP NIghtlife is on sale I'll get it @ Best Buy. I'll also get POTC there, too. And a few other things before the double points ends. I had a great deal recently for a bestbuy.com purchase - 500 bonus points. I technically have enough for almost 3 - $5 certificates once the rest of my points are posted. This is a great deal and I hope they do this regularly.

WIdescreen is much better than FullScreen. Believe me, WIdescreen is BETTER. I won't preorder it because if I wait til the release date, I can get a good deal, plus I can earn Best Buy Reward Zone Points OR Target Reward Points w/ my Target Visa. Plus, those good prices at Amazon never seem to last very long.

Each game comes with a certain amount of dog breeds. Dalmatian is the newest version. I have the Dauschand and Friends and it has Pug, Beagle, Siberian Husky and a few others. Do they both have a Nintendo DS? If they do, then maybe look at each version and see which they would like.

I saw the game at my walmart for $15. I wish it could stay that price - it was a great deal. I didn't get it though. I have another board game I want to Christmas and I don't think its widely available yet.

Its probably not nationwide as I didn't receive one. Wouldn't be able to go anyway as i'm going to my brother's for dinner for my dad's birthday. I'd love to win a $50 gift card though!

Thank you so much! I'll ask my dad for their ad (I don't get the sunday paper) and get the last deal or no deal piece. I wonder how many pieces you can use? I wonder if I can only use one per visit? I currently have two pieces already that I need to use. And only six days left to use them.

Any number of animated television programs on DVD or cartoons that were cartoon shorts (like Looney Toons) for a good price. Some other television series on DVD. No music.

I rarely get to ToysRUs and rarely buy stuff there, but I got my NintendoDS Travel case there back in June. I got a copy of the new return policy then. If anything will hurt them, it'll be high prices. Or lack of carrying products that other stores have in stock. Things like that. You'd think they'd remember that some people buy gifts ahead of time for Birthdays or Christmas and won't be able to return the gift within 45 days.

I bet this doesn't apply to Video Game Hardware. Otherwise, that'd be a great deal to buy a GBA SP.

I got that booklet in the mail today. At least got something similiar anyway w/ something about a special Big Rewards Sweepstakes. I got a coupon for double points on any single item (with a few restrictions of course) in store (good 9th - 31st of October) and one for 500 BONUS points when you place an order on BestBuy.com that is good from October 15 - 21st. There's a computer game I might buy online (hey, under the new system, 500 points is 2 - $5 certificates!) and I'm willing to pay shipping + sales tax if I get the 500 bonus points in return. If they do offers like this every so often, I'll be happy.

The changes were supposed to go into effect September 18th. I made a purchase a few weeks before this and commented at the check out "getting a few purchases in while I can still earn 100 points". Well, those points i SHOULD have earned as 100/$1 (and the ones that were already posted) were converted. So, if you had say, 4000 points in your account before the changes, you might not have 4000 points anymore. The old way was better and I'd rather pay $5 for a membership and get 25 or 30 points per $. I hope they keep the double points deals sometimes.

Oh man there are so many in my wishes list in the "black friday wishes" thread........ Probably a good deal on a Season set of some television show or animated cartoons set like "He-Man" or "Looney Toons". If I had to choose only ONE: ~ Sims 2 Nightlife EP for $19.99 OR ~ Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff Pack for $14.99 or less OR A laptop computer with decent graphics card that can play Sims 2.

This is the Platinum Edition. It'll be around on Black Friday. I got the Aladdin Platinum Edition a few years ago on Black Friday - the same year of the release. This is the week to get it on sale unless you want to wait for Black Friday. Walmart stores vary in their prices, depending on location.

I have a Target Visa because they give 1% back to schools. I have my old elementary school as the designated school. Plus, the last two years Target has had a deal that if you spend $250 at Target between a certain date and like December 22nd, you get a 10% off certificate. I'll probably end up spending that much between Black Friday and the week before Christmas IF they offer it again this year. Usually it takes awhile to accumlate the points for 10% off certificate.

my dad's family used to have a gift exchange where everyone picked a name and would buy a gift for that person. About 7 years ago, they started only doing the kids names for gifts and adults would bring "white elephant" or "generic" gifts. When my paternal grandmother was still alive, she gave the grandkids & great grandkids a small gift or cash. I miss guessing who had my name. The white elephant gifts gets out of control with people stealing gifts. My immediately family, I buy for my nieces and nephews and try to find something for my sister & brother in law & brother & sister in law. Last year I made my brother and sister in law a "coupon book" to 'redeem' coupons for babysitting or borrowing a DVD from me. This year I'm clueless about what to get them.

Best Buy : $14.99 You get your choice of a free sebastian plush OR a free Flounder (Ariel's little fish friend) plush. Not a bad deal considering alone, the plush is $9 or $10.
