I looked at the ad and the portable dvd player in question has only a 2 hour battery. That's barely enough for one movie. There's actually a better deal on a portable player @ Best Buy, but not sure if that'd be available online on BF either. Since target.com's shipping rates is based on weight, I think it'd be really expensive shipping..

I saw one at Suncoast Motion Picture Store at the Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. I never knew one existed, either!

I tried ordering the POTC: DMC DVD on tuesday. Since it was supposed to begin at Noon EST, I added the DVD to my cart before that and went to work on laundry. Came back a little before Noon EST (11:00 AM my time) and tried to order. Kept getting the "oh no" shopping error page. Turns out they were updating the site. I tried later and it said the DVD was sold out. I was upset. Then I checked my email later and the email I get deals for Overstock sent to had an email saying "the deal will start over at 7:00 EST" and of course they were sold out this time for real by the time I saw that email. Not very impressed.

I got an email saying 25 of my credits would be expiring. And my free shipping credits aren't in my account. So, hopefully this will get fixed soon.

Polar Express DVD (they didn't have Widescreen @ Target, they only had FUllScreen). And Best Buy was out of the NintendoDS Version of UNO/SkipBo Video game. Other than that......and forgetting to look for those 400 thread count sheets.....I got what I needed for the most part.

The GBA SP is now listed at the Black Friday price, but its still "buy in store". I'll use my gift cards for a few video games and that's that, probably. I'll check tomorrow morning, but I seriously doubt they'll allow you to buy online. Just a few days ago I could have purchased it online, but for the regular price of $79.99

Just a warning - NON Nintendo Approved Styluses are more likely to scratch the NintendoDS touch screen. Only buy licensed Nintendo Styluses. I'd recommend the Starter Kit (unfortunately the website says arriving in 2-6 weeks). Search for DS Lite Starter Kit. All items that are in the Kit are Nintendo licensed. (check the help section at Nintendo.com if you don't understand about non-licensed items. that's why I bought the starter kit after Christmas when I got my old style DS for Christmas last year. I wanted to make sure it was Nintendo Approved).

URGH, I just checked as well and it said "buy in store". Perhaps tomorrow it'll be allowed online? I was hoping to buy one cause I don't want to go to the Circuit City store. I'm only going to Target tomorrow. I guess I could just use my Circuit City Gift Cards for Video Games instead. Once I've spent $24+ I get free shipping.

You can also print out a coupon to use IN STORE. I did that. I hope to get something and since it can be used on any item, I am not sure yet what I'd get. And the in store use coupon is good until the 28th as well.

Some of the deals are probably online only on Thanksgiving - they have never been open that day as far as I know.

You might not be able to find it cheaper than $129.99 For some reason no one has it cheaper than that for Black Friday (the top retailers I mean - like Target, Best Buy, Circuit City)

I've never heard of them doing sales. I know they usually have coupons sometimes for use in the store that are only good for like a week, (just used one that expired on the 8th) and they have bargain books and other items on bargain prices, but I've never heard of an actual Black Friday sale. Its always so busy there I don't get to go very often.

When I get my certificates, usually its within a few days of getting my bill. I haven't gotten this month's bill yet (I hope it'll come tomorrow or monday) so I would probably expect that I'll get my certificate next week. Won't use it Black Friday though. Still haven't gotten this catalog. I hope to get it soon, though. If you are signed up for the management online (rcam.target.com) you can check and it should say "congratulations, you have gotten enough points, your certificate should arrive soon) or something like that.

If anyone is looking for the 'Monopoly Here and Now' version (the latest reincarnation) my local Target has it price cut to $15.09 (to match Walmart's $15 price) so check your local store. And with the $5 off coupon from the toy book (that expires 11/22/06), that would make it $10. So, check your local Target. Maybe yours will have it at a Temporary price reduction also.

My mall closed the Disney Store. I don't know why. This was a few years ago. Closest one is an hour away. Sounds like they will have a few good deals.

Two years ago I got a copy of the Aladdin Platinum Edition DVD right before the early bird sale went off. It was a great deal at $11.99. Okay, I admit I only bought it to have it with the other PEs I have and have not watched it.......but I'll have it if a niece ever wants to borrow it.

The most disappointing part of this ad is the fact there are so few DS games and the prices are the **regular price** - not a sale price. I'd love to take advantage of that deal if there were more games listed. A $20 gift card would come in handy. Too bad there aren't more than those games listed.

Wow, $10 off $100 purchase? I hope I get this catalog! I got the toy one last week. I'll be getting my 10% reward certificate for getting 1000 points (Target Visa Rewards) soon, but I don't think I'll use it on Black Friday. I think I'll use it in early December instead. But if I get that catalog w/coupon, it could come in handy if I DO go to Target on black Friday. I think I'll ask my mom if she & my dad got it in their mail, because sometimes she gets some items from Target and I don't.

hmmm, this is a good question. My guess is NO. They are teamed with Amazon.com on a few things so those wouldn't be "Target" deals but rather Amazon.com deals.........its very confusing.

Does this mean some items will be available online? Like a few of the video games? I would rather shop online and pay shipping and tax if I could get one of the video games listed in the ad.

I think the OP was looking for a DS Lite. The $119 one at Amazon is not the DSLite.
