I believe and please do not quote me that you can book directly with WDW and get AAA discount. But I believe either this month is Disney month at AAA and you get a 25 dollar Disney GC at check in for booking with AAA.

If you are going to watch the boards like a hawk book your own. I can't stand not having control so I book with 407WDisney. Which honestly is not a bad site to belong to ... hint hint lol.

I agree I am glad it is over. I love to see Christmas come but I am always ready to see it go. We won't take our tree down until next week on New Year's Day after our New Year's Eve party. I am already dreading it because it is cleaning up the aftermath from a New Year's party as well sigh. I will be very glad to have my house back afterward!

Went to bed at around 1 and slept till 9! :) So thankful my kids are older sometimes lol.

Blah apparently I am becoming the Chirstmas procrastinator lol. I have 2 presents bought. A lightening mcqueen for DFS and a Troy barbie for DFD. I am SO behind. DH and I are shopping this weekend while the 2 youngest are gone, we have already said. Course we are only buying for our 4 kids this year, we already agreed with his family that we were not exchanging gifts.

We are only halfway done. Finally got time to do lights today. We will finish next weekend because we need to buy another 24 boxes to finish and find some redlights. We need to do some more in the bed on the right side of the house. Then we only have one of the beds in the yard done and there is another one that is larger. Plus our two big trees we want to wrap the trunks in red and white lights, and get a new wreath for the door. I got rid of a lot of our old stuff when we moved. We are also thinking about buying some large yard decoration. DH wants one of the blower ones and I want a lighted one ... we are debating lol. I was so dissapointed because we got our boxes of icicle lights out that I bought on clearance at K mart and none of them had whole strands that work. We have never used them but I bought them a year ago so money down the drain. It looks a lot better in person. I wanted to say thanks again to you guys. I have been really bah humbug this year. A lot of our normal traditions we have not been able to do because of DFS. A lot of my things I put out every year we are not doing because we feel it would be setting him up for failure because he would not be able to leave them alone. With all the cards and my SS gift though I am finally getting in the Christmas spirit. :) Thank you again. Eve let me know if you need an Elf, so I can feel like I gave back this year.

I am going to agree with the Disney ones. They would be good for that age group. Last year they had some pretty good deals on them along with codes closer to Christmas.

Occasionally TRU will run wrestling stuff usually only on BF. A few other stores do as well. My experience with WWE stuff is you either pay full price or you wait till it is on clearance (then your kids don't want it usually lol). Another option is keeping an eye on the WWE site they occasionally run some pretty good shipping codes. Good luck :) I am so thankful that we seem to be leaving the wrestling stage!

No I do not think that is mean at all. We are pretty bad to our kids though. We hide gifts and put things in odd places and boxes. See if it were me whatever her big gift was would be wrapped inside a HSM or HM box ... but that is us lol. Last year DS got sad beause he thought we didn't buy him his "big" gift. It was sitting behind the tree in a silver suitcase that had been there all season.

OK I know we have a homemade gifts thread but does anyone have ideas for frames? I am not using them for Christmas but I want to send the group from Disney that sent Alex the box a heartfelt gift from us. I want something I can put his picture in along with the Disney box. It has to be something he can help with. I cannot decide if I should make frames or just buy some silver ones and write on the glass a little saying about how they make magic happen. Anyway I would love to see your ideas for homemade frames.

Hmm I am not sure. Maybe I could find a rental company around Scottish Rite. I would have to rent a car to get us there so for at least Tues and Wed. I will look into if that is any cheaper though thanks conj.

Thanks guys I am actually picking up in Longview not Dallas hence the problem. There is just not availble out here. Thank you for the thought Marcster. :) I found 20% off code this morning and I can get it for about 160 for the week. Which I am thinking is about as good as it is going to get. I am just frustrated because that car is goign to be sitting in the parking garage all but 3 days of that time lol.

Hey guys I have to rent a car for the week while we go to Dallas for Alex's surgery. So it will be from Tues afternoon to Sat afternoon could be longer if need be. So tell me do you have any deals on cars? It can be just a compact we can put the wheelchair and the walker in the backseat because it is just the 2 of us. :)
