That is how it was for me too. I was at Walmart at 5 and Target when they opened at 6.

Tickle Me Elmo(the first one) Dh stood in line for hours and only ended up with a raincheck. We got one in Feb and dh was deathly terrified of it! My Dad stood in line for hours at Gold Circle when I was a kid for a Cabbage Patch kid. He almost had a brawl with an old lady because she tried ripping it out of his hands!

Walmart and Target I love it they are right next to each other!

Last year on Thanksgiving I waited for the afternoon to grab a paper. After 5 stores telling me they were all sold out I almost started to panic! I needed my ads. Luckly my Dad found a store that had 1 left and brought it to me. This year my butt is getting out of bed early. I am going to roll out of bed brush my teeth and hair and throw some running pants and a tshirt on and I am going to get my paper. I had no clue getting a paper on Thansgiving was that hard!! Extended family I want to be done with by Nov. 1st. I have to ship most of it so I also want to beat the crowds at the post office! My boys I tend to pick things up right up until Christmas Eve.

I work for DH and last year we all had off. If he decides to have his guys work this year that is okay but I am off and he is off because he has kids to baby-sit!!

We have a membership this year. If anyone has been do they really have good deals on BF??? TIA!

Nope. That would open up the door for ToysRUs for me and that is where I would head first.

My Mom hates crowds so she doesnt go. My sister goes with friends.(this year I think she is getting smart and going solo and meeting up with her friends later)My Inlaws think I am nuts but my MIL never does anything like this! I LOVE it. My dh actually helped me last year and went to lowes and Radio shak at 6 am. I would of missed those items if he had not gone. We will be doing the same this year too!

I have outlets near me in Orlando but I wont be hitting those on BF.

I will be in Central Florida. No boots, ear warmers, coats or extra layers required! LOL!

Last year I wore shorts, a tshirt and flip flops. Depending on the weather this year I will wear a tshirt jeans/shorts and my crocs. OMG those things are AWESOME!!!

EXACTLY!!! My friend went last year with 3 other friends and she said NEVER again! LOL! I would rather go by myself and get what I need and move on to the next store! Dh helped me last year by going to 2 stores with ds. I am sure he will do the same this year. I LOVE going solo!! :D

Our Kmart NEVER has enough help! Depending on what they have on sale I might go shopping. All depends!

I usually leave the house at 4:30~4:45am.

My Walmart hides everything in the back room.

We had a new Target to shop at on BF last year. I had 4 or 5 things on my list. They were the MOST organized store I have ever been to on BF. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes!!!

It takes WAY too long to put anything on lay away on BF! I did it once and said I would never do it again!

I grabbed a frozen gogert and some juice last year. I will most likely do the same I will also add a diet Mt. Dew for later! :)

A treadmill and a GOOD digital camera!!
