I know that both Hollister and A&F have stores in Gurnee Mills in Illinois. I also went to an A&F outlet in the Mall of America. I can't remember if they have a Hollister outlet though. You can find great deals there but some of the things may have imperfections. A pair of jeans I bought had a button missing, some things may have a small hole or a snag. I got a button up shirt for $3 because it had a small hole in the collar. I tried to find a list of their outlet stores and I couldn't find one. I even contacted the store asking for information on their outlets and I didn't receive a response.

My daughter and I both shop at Hollister and A&F. We only buy when things are on clearance. I know that A&F used to have sales where you could take an extra 50% off clearance but I haven't seen those signs in about a year. Their outlet stores are great too. I got a couple pairs of jeans at the Hollister outlet for 9.99 and an embroidered sweater at the A&F outlet for 12.00. I wish I lived closer to the outlets. I would shop there a lot more often.

Well, I called my Target this morning and they told me that it was 75% off. So great, I head over to Target only to see signs for 50% off. I scanned a few things- 50% off. As I was shopping I found an off duty employee and asked her about the Christmas stuff. She said that she does night stock and she saw signs up for 75% off so she was there at 8am with a friend to get some things. But when she got there all of the signs had been switched back to 50% off. Maybe it will go to 75% off tomorrow.

Wow! Great deal on the barbie laptop. I'll have to check my Target again. The ones I saw were marked 30 something. Thanks for the info.

My Target will give you the price you paid for holiday clearance as long as you have the receipt. During Easter I bought some things for 50% off and they still had them left when they went 90% off so I bought them again and returned the originals with my receipt for 50% off.

Sorry, that was for the mix Sticks. The only extras I saw were the movie clips for the one that plays movies too. I'm pretty sure the movies were 16.xx. So they're still only about 15% off.

I think the Disney mix clips were 42.xx, maybe 42.98. I'll have to watch those. My daughter wants the Tinkerbell one.

The Target here will tell you if you call. However, they are not always accurate. I called one year to ask what the discount was and she told me 50% off. When I got there at 2:00 it was marked 75% off. Someone will probably post the dates for the markdowns. I think it's usually 50% for at least 3 days.

The 5mp kodak camera at best buy. I'm not surprised though, I got there at 6:00.

Our best store of the day was Target. We were able to get what we wanted and get out within 15 minutes. The worst was Toys R Us. I didn't see any of the things we wanted to get there and their check out line went all the way around the store. Even if I did find what we needed there is no way I was waiting in that line for one or two things. I definitely recommend price matching instead of going to TRU.

I was really disappointed with Meijer today. My daughter HAD to have the littlest pet shop toys so we looked last night and they had about 30 packs left. I thought that would mean there would be plenty left if we got there by 6:00 today. Well we got there at 5:30 this morning and there was a crowd around the LPS stuff. Luckily we were able to get the last few packs. But that was at 5:30. In the ad it says the sale doesn't start until 6. Meijer needs to have more in stock or keep things under wraps until the sale starts. They don't offer rainchecks on these things either so if you got there at 6 and they were sold out you're out of luck. That just doesn't seem right to me.

I am a little confused by the Wal Mart ad. I was in the store last night and I saw tons of Baby Alive dolls, fisher price dollhouses, some kind of dora playhouse, and lots of other toys on the main aisle that weren't mentioned in their flyer. Does anyone think that these will be on sale on BF also?

I wasn't worried at all until I went to pick up my Nintendo Wii at Toys R Us this morning. The man at the counter said that he'd better get me a bag for it so I don't get attacked while walking to my car. I'm still not really worried but it's always good to be alert.

I take my daughter with on BF. She's 8 years old and I usually have most of my shopping done by now thanks to Target clearance deals. So on BF we go shopping and she picks out some extra things she likes and we shop for other people. Then we go to Borders for their gourmet hot chocolate. It's a lot of fun for both of us.

I think that some stores will and some will not. It's best if you ask when you purchase the item. A lot of stores only have a 14 day price adjustment too. You could always buy the item again on black friday and return it with your original receipt.

I love Meijer for price matching on BF. They're open 24 hours so no waiting in the cold. And if it's a doorbuster item at another store you have a better chance of being able to get it at Meijer even if you're not the first one in the store. It's great!

If you look on the Michaels web site it shows the projects they will be making Saturday. I have brought my daughter to these in the past (she's 7) and she had a good time.

The bbw where I am had only a few holiday items at 90% off. I got some ornaments and boxes. The bears and gift sets were still only 50% off. I still got a lot of good deals though. I'll be checking again tomorrow.

I read somewhere that Jan 2 is 90% off. Who knows though. Like a previous poster said it could probably be any day. I'm also wondering when the toys will be marked down further.

Is my local walmart the only one that didn't go 75% off yesterday? I'm so jealous. I found a perfume gift set that I really wanted but I wasn't going to buy it for 50% off. I'll have to check back tomorrow.

I was there yesterday and it was still 50% off. I even scanned a couple of things. My walmart always seems to be really slow when it comes to marking things down though.

I had a similar problem. The manager was no help. I even called the 800# and they wouldn't do anything about it. I still shop there once in a while but I'm not surprised when my purchase rings up wrong.
