So, I see that everyone is saying that the 28th will be the toy markdown to 75% (most likely). Does that mean toys usually get marked on Thursdays? The outline at the beginning of the thread says Wednesday, but I went perimeter perusing today and no markdown team was in sight.

Has anyone tried to price match the 1 cent items at WalMart? I was thinking of doing that. My closest Staples store is 20+miles. Please post if you were successful at price matching.

Does the 'Search Target Inventory' thingy not work anymore?? The one you used to be able to put the DCPI in and see if a product was in one of your local Targets?
Also, anyone happen to know if the wall decals went cheaper? I think they were 50% last week.

COOL thank you both for telling me that I didnt know so now I guess I can spend the money I was going to spend on the other system and buy her some games. None of my targets had them on clearance.
I know it's not as great of a steal as 4.97 for a game but around Black Friday I got a few for 14.95. A lot of the stores had them about 5.00 off around Christmas time last year.

went to Target today...barely any toys left at all but there wasn't really anything I wanted when I was there last week so it's ok. My sandals haven't all went 75% off yet Seems like my Target is a little slower on the markdowns.

Wish we had the dora dress up outfits. Kmart had the armoire and the bed that go with the dress up Dora on clearance for really cheap. I think the doll was still regular price though.

Just got back from target.... bah humbug... nothing has changed. They were working in the baby department on the endcaps but nothing and noone in the toy department. I am beginning to feel like some of you other gottadealers, there isnt really much left that I would want even at 75% off. (but then I am SURE I can find something
)Do you know what they were marking down in the baby department??

I guess I'm missing something but I don't understand all the interest in the toys. My Target has mostly junky toys and the few good toys are going fast without the 75 off. Does all of your Targets have really good toys on clearence that mine doesn't. Maybe I should try another Target.
I think it totally depends on your Target. I know I've been to a few Targets where you can blink and miss their toy section and then I've been to a few that have a great toy selection.

Yeah i am starting to get frustrated went last night figuring OK MAYBE the toys will be 75% off BUT OF COURSE NOT its only been 50% for almost 3 weeks now but I did notice that they are clearing out whole isles I am assuming to make that FAMOUS 75% off isle of toys
) so cant wait until they do but asked a young girl working there now me being around the same age but she WOULDNT tell me when they are gonna be marked down all she said was they should be marking down again SOON ( with all the gas we use are we really saving money checking on the 75% off toys ??I can't understand why it's such a 'secret'? The people that shop this sale every year aren't going to buy things at 30% and 50% because we know it goes cheaper.

OKAY what is going on with the TOY MARKDOWN?? I was really disappointed that NOTHING was marked any lower. I can't figure it out. Must be next week?? There was a guy (with the little scanner thing) going through the aisles and resetting them and taking clearance stuff off of the shelves. Is it possible that they are going to do a markdown in the next few days?
