So since I had to give a presentation to the City Council tonight at the last minute, I thought I deserved a treat. I had tried to withdraw myself from Target, and have been a little successful. Anyway I went to the one in Clermont, Fl.. not my usual one. But it was great fun. I found a FP Easy Link internet pad marked 30% off scanning 0.00. They gave it to me for 90% off without me having to beg. Found a REALLY cute apron only 50% off but I bought it anyway. I have LOVED the green and white polka dot Isaac sheets. I have been begging them to go on clearance.. finally and only because Isaac is leaving. I have found them for 50% off so far but finally found a Queen so I bought it, hopefully I will find them for 75% off but I am HAPPY!!!! Found some picture frames and some v-day candy I didn't need. Oh and Olive oil was on clearance - 30% so far but I bought some anyway. OHHHHHHH and a fruit punch MM.. Haven't found that flavor yet! YAY!!! And those MM are on sale this week so i thought for sure I wouldn't find any!

My only caution is to pay attention to what you are buying. I shop there often, but I make sure that I watch what it is and the size that it is. There are reasons that some of the name brand stuff is being sold for a dollar. For instance.. the Irish Spring is $1, but the bars are personal size bars rather than the full size you find in the store. And you can buy 6 at the store for 4 something. They don't last as long as the bigger bars of course. There are some other things that I have looked at, like the frozen pretzels. We love those, but at target they are 6 for 1.29 rather than the 6 for a dollar. But they are better than the dollar store ones so I tend to still buy from Target, especially when we are talkign about cents. The good thing about it though is that if you check often enough, which I do because it is one block from me, they always get new merchandise and we have found things like gerber lil ones packs that were much more expensive in the store and the expiration dates were great. I love to buy books there and check for magazines sometimes they will have some. The fabulosa cleaning agents are great, especially if you just poor some in the toilet bowl.. it will make the whole house smell delicious (I use the purple one). The Awesome products are "awesome" too.. and they are concentrated so buy some empty spray containers so you don't waste what you bought for $1. Wow I didn't think I knew so much about the Dollar Tree.. well that's likely why I spend so much each time I go. Oh and one more thing. they have some cereals there, but because of the size I am able to do better with name brands or even Malt-o-meals when there are sales at the regular stores.

I found the Isaac Mizrahi carry on roller bag, shaped kind of like a U, marked down to 10.04 from 79.99. When I realized that a few other random luggage things were 85% off I decided I should go back and scan it. Sure glad I did!

I have seen these on the shelfs here. But both times that I rang up this specific puzzle it came up 34.98 or its regular price... I would love to find one that cheap. Guess I will keep searching.

No they will not price adjust clearance items. with most clearance if you find it later for 75% off you can rebuy and return with the more expensive receipt however, seasonal is normally different and in some stores if you try to return it will be returned at the current price, not necessarily what you paid for it. This is YMMV because some people have had luck doing so with seasonal items.

I just bought th Kurve on clearance for 24 - 5GC... haven't decided if I am keeping it yet. I really want it for quick cleaning in my car!

I have found that the clearance stuff on Target is a good deal, except often shipping kills it for me.

A quick note about something not necessarily a clearance item. I found in the travel/sample size stuff that they have Hefty quart size bags marked for travel with TSA. They are .97 for 7 of them. But on the back of the package is a $1.00 coupon to us later, so if you use Hefty storage bags you just got 7 for free. OH and I got three apple juice MM just sitting there in the front of the shelf and to think I almost wasn't going to check. Found two ribbon snapware boxes for 1.48 finally.

I have sen them although they haven't gotten moved from the regular aisle as with a bunch of the other kitchen small appliances.

We have tons of jewelry boxes at all the Targets I have visited.. They are all marked 75% off AND with a big sign. There has been no rush on them. I am surprised some of you are experiencing that!

I know she was mentioning the last I saw about her kids and dealing with illnesses, maybe that has taken most of her time now...

This happens a lot and it is sometimes because they don't sell that item online or some other issue. I rarely check that because to be honest, it isn't totall reliable and most of the time the item is not sold online and therefore not in the system.

I am pretty sure that the furniture day is today - Thursday - as it falls in with the housewares/decor but I can't be positive on that!

The coupons can be used at both stores! And can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon as well.

They had light green and grey and they were $4.98 at 75% off! Lots of other luggage embark and mizrahi that were 75% off as well.

I found a coleman stove for another GDer today, one lonely shutterfly mug marked 50% off, went with the "the rest have already gone 75% off" It kills me tho when these cashiers can't figure out what 75% of the total is or what 50% off the 50% price is.. or even understand how that makes 75%!!! The manager literally went and got a calculator to figure out that 75% of 14.99 was 3.74... and the girl checking me out had to be either in high school or just out of it.. WHY don't they know?!?!?!?! Sorry for the rant!!! I also found reebok small gym duffles and large handle bags.

Today all the bulk in Lake Mary was 30% off, well the food bulk, not the other stuff.... Oh and Irish Spring 50% off the body wash. No shutterfly stuff remaining. Lots of towels 30% off.. like an entire aisle!

It seems to me like a bunch of toys went back to their final price or are now coming up item not found.

Where in Lakeland is this. I am tempted to drive there from Orlando for the sewing machine. Thanks!!!

My suggestion is to try Sally's Beauty Supply store. They will allow you to return an item if you don't like it. That way you could at least try some things without having to spend a lot of money. Some of the rite-aid, walgreens types may allow you to do the same thing.. i know they do in the cosmetics, but not sure about other stuff. Worth a try!

Will it not be used a lot like it is for a grandparents house or something. I would just do a pack and play.. that to me makes the most sense.
