  1. I usually don't exceed a 15 mile radius from wherever I'm at.
  2. I haven't had anyone send/give me money ahead of time, but I generally know how much my siblings, SIL and parents are planning on spending on my boys. If I find a deal on something (BF or not) that one of the boys really wants but I don't plan on getting, I will pick it up and let one of them know I got a deal on "X" and if they want to give it to <insert kids name here> then they just need to give me the money for it. I've never had anyone turn me down as it makes things easier for them and the boys LOVE getting what they want. I've also place orders online where I needed a certain amount more for free shipping and ordered something extra knowing one of them will be more than happy to pay for it.
  3. If we're home, I usually make this: 8 frozen hash brown patties 3 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1 cup fully cooked ham, diced* 1 scallion, thinly sliced 7 eggs 1 cup milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. pepper 1. Place hash brown patties in a single layer in a greased 13x9" baking dish. Sprinkle with cheeses, ham and onion. 2. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper until well combined. Pour over hash browns. 3. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Uncover and 15 minutes longer or until edges are golden brown and knife inserted near center comes out clean. Yield: 8 servings. ***This dish can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated overnight. Bake as directed above. Get creative and use bacon or sausage instead of ham, and add diced green pepper, mushrooms, or your favorite veggie, too. I make this for holidays or breakfast with my girlfriends or sometimes on long weekends. I've never put the scallions or ham in it. I usually use bacon, occasionally sausage. I've made it with the Kraft cheddar jack w/jalapeno cheese (girlfriends & dh love it, kids prefer cheddar) I'm sure this came from one of the recipe sites out there, but I originally received it in an email so credit to wherever it's from! :)
  4. I know I have one of the Very Special Christmas cd's (I think the first one...) and Another Rosie Christmas (funny stuff...but not if you're looking for classics) Mostly I just keep the radio tuned to a station that plays nothing but Christmas music from Thanksgiving til Christmas. Big mix of stuff.
  5. Traveling by minivan, limited by trunk, sort of. Have a luggage carrier for the top, can use the space behind the back bench seat. Leaving home on Wednesday, coming home on Sunday so don't need to pack too much.
  6. I shop for others, but if I happen to find a great deal on something for me, I buy it and tell DH he bought me something!
  7. I *think* we've decided to go home to New Jersey for Thanksgiving so I'll be in the "exit 136 (Cranford) off the Garden State Parkway" area!
  8. Craftsmen 35 LED rechargeable worklight. Added as a friend, rated, commented, subscribed...LOL...just covering all my bases!
  9. Hi ~ I'm Sandra ~ Married to my Marine for 18 years, Mom of 4 boys ~ 13, 11, 7 & 2. My sister and 2 friends are also BF addicts but we all live in different states and go on our own.
  10. 11. Thanksgiving night I usually pop in the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation DVD and go through the sale ads for the umpteenth time to finalize where I'm going and in what order. If I'm at my parents, my sister will go out with me and if I'm at home, I'm on my own.
  12. 25 years Last year I had my 20th high school reunion that evening and my family couldn't believe I was going out shopping at 3:30AM ~ DUH!! It's Black Friday!!! Like I'd ever miss it! LOL!!!
  13. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who browse when the store first opens ~ really? seriously? You get up that early to wait on line to enter and then take your time wandering the aisles with a cart? If I'm gonna be out that early, you can bet I'm on a mission for something!
  14. By myself unless we go home for Thanksgiving and then it's me and my sister.
  15. TY! I was waiting for this to come back down to $9.99 again!
  16. Checked it out! (Rated, commented, subscribed!)
  17. A few gifts are done. Probably 1/4 of my shopping is done...although I have to add my sister's new puppy to the list....
  18. Target is usually my first choice. Excited to see Kohl's, too, since I live near one now!

Gaming Headset was dusty, so I'm not sure if it's a recent clearance or oldie. Wasn't looking for one but figured DH could use an extra when he deploys.
  20. I picked up 2 pair of men's cargo pants, regular $29.50 for $14.92 each. Great sale for me since my son needs them now. I was also able to finally exchange the jeans for my 7 year old that I bought when they were $7 back in late August.
  21. ###Schwinn Child's Multisport Helmet, Knee & Elbow Pads $5.12 ###Prospirit Weight Bench $14.98 Both were 75% off. Helmet is blue with the number 3 on it. DH said weight bench is on the small side but good starter weight bench for our 13 year old. Also picked up some random school supplies - fun erasers, stickers for teacher, pens.
  22. Almost everything I bought today has already been mentioned here (air conditioner, EB luggage, School Supplies, yoga mat, film - for my 72 year old Dad who refuses to go digital, LOL) ###Thomas O'Brien Bath Mat $4.24 (orig $16.99) ###Casual Home Egyptian Cotton Blend Kitchen Towels $.74 (orig $2.99)

  24. This weeks TRU flyer states "Sale prices valid September 21-25"
  25. There were a few on an endcap by some stuff in sporting goods. There was also some pet supply clearance & yoga stuff there as well (neither of which interested me.)
