lol i had to laugh at this.. my son is 17 and loves to go now.. when he was younger he would not take part in it. at all. from age 2 till ohhh 7th grade. i do have two younger ones and its hard to get them into it also. but they do go and do it. i on the other hand feel.. if u have the holiday spirt no matter what age i think u should go and do it. i dress up and take the kids out we go all out for the house and let others come in and see. we have everyone room in the house done on the first fl. out side we have people from other towns to come and see. and ask when open doors are. so i still think if u have the spirit and u dress u should go. do i want candy not really just want to put a smile on somones elses face to see how we look. if they come to my door with no costume i say ohhh no treat u must want a trick.?? and then i make them sing or dance or something funny to earn it. lol HAPPY HOWLLOWEEN HAHAH howl lol get it lol

uhhgg just spent 143.00 in toys r us on bakugans and well no backpacks. i hate this new store that just opened. then i also went with hubby who i let talk me into getting ds9 a kids lap top . that is real. for 269.00.. my son will love this dont get me wrong. but i so did not feel like walking out spending 431. on nothing. i still have so much more to get. grrrrr.....

they are opening one down the road from me and right next to my job. cant wait to see what its like

i got mine yesterday, gonna go to toys r us , then to there not sure what i will get yet. but im having a bad day so it might be morethen 10.00.lol

i got two last yr one for my neice and one for me .. i paid like 80 with free shipping online. as soon as i find the sight ill let u know . i love mine

well santa wraps each persons gifts in the same paper. with one big gift left out so the child knows what is his even tho there are tags on it. each one is piled in a nice display. say blue paper in one cute pile spread out . green paper in another pile. so on and so on. the kids run and look and we take pics at them looking at some little things that were not wraped. and getting all worked up. then they sit and say can we as long as my camera is on i say go for it. and we take pics and tape. and we watch them yell scream. at each other look what i got oo look what u got ohh i wanted that to . lol as they do it they put the paper in a garbage bag. so less of a mess for me to clean. then when all done they usally say can we eat. then its while im making it can i open one. they do then they move on to another one. so its fun here in the am. i cant sit and watch each person open one at a time. i m usally way to tired lol . then again its us here and some come for the holiday. but we enjoy it this way. we have lots of fun.as im sure u all do that do it dif. and that is what its about . enjoying your time and smiles.

sorry for your loss.. i can tell u how i have delt with them. my mom passed away at 44 and i was 19 and oldest of 5. so i always have played mommy and tried to remember everything she did for us and i made sure it was like that even tho she was not here. she was with us no matter what in our hearts and her teachings. we always laugh and talk and joke about things she would do or we would do. and even when we got in trouble like her breaking her thumb hitting my brother cause he hit me. lol. so even tho she is gone she really is not she is in u and u bring it out,. makes for great times at dinner time . stay strong and remember the times . they help u threw it.

uhhg i new nothing about a reward and i spent over 150 in there last wk on games and toys. now im mad lol and i was just there today to return a toy. grrr

where are you getting the coupons? also i have digital cable but only on the main tv. the other tvs in the house just have cable pluged in to the tvs . do i need boxes for all the other tvs? any help would be great thanks

we always had them as a kid so i also have carried it on for my kids. i was the oldest of 5 when my my passed away . so i made sure what ever she taught me was carried down to them. youngest was 10. to this day i fill them all . and i have to say my dh always makes sure mine is full.. not always the best things but i cant complain he tries. last yr he gave me my purfume. starbucks card. my circus penuts are always in there . and he even will put broadway show or concert ticket in there. and then i get a gift under hte tree. really depends on the money each yr what it is . but we also dont fill till xmass eve

ok my mom had to hide them in the truck of the station wagon . lol but what she did not know was i was looking out the window. kinda like what u said. it was never intentinal. i just happen to be there for some reason. wether it was closet . crawl space above garage. attic, basement ?? humm ya know i dont think i ever found anything down there. got to the point my aunt had it all at her house. one year she was so mad at me that i got nothing for xmass. everything i asked for she gave to my younger brothers and sisters . as they opened i said hey that is what i wanted?? so i sat in a chair all day and watched tv till my uncle came up to me and gave me my walk man. ok i just dated myself. so i was over it. i got one thing i wanted. so the next yr i went ot midnight mass with a friend came home.. peaked in the room with the tree. door was glass never went in. went to bed. woke up..., little ones were openeing there gifts and she says to me . why did u not finish wrapping these ? i said what ./? she said i left u a note ,,i new u would look i laughed so hard and said ummm i didnt peek. so ha! lolol the joke was on her now. so here i was throwing gifts like it was in my pile .sorry i opnened it lol we had 5 kids so there was always mayhem. lol i hide everythigng in my closets in my room. they are not alloud in them so i dont have a issue .. but when its something big i hide it in the basement . or if they find it i tell them its not mine its for blah blah birthday . lol .i usally get snagged when i go to the car and they see it in the back of the van cause i have not carried them in yet.

they sell those at time at childrenswear. not sure if u have that store. also the dollar stores sometimes have them. i remember growing up the darn hardware store sold them . try there ya never know. gl

im crazy,, i buy for everyone. but i dont set limits really .. i started to last yr. all the kids that i know i spend 25.00 so if the toy cost 10 they would get another usally most of hte kids always got two toys thanks to all the deals i find and gd finds for me. im usally almost done by oct but this yr money is very very hard to find so i wont be doing much this yr.good thing i hit target and got most of the girls stuff last yr. my kids last yr i had lots of extra money ( came into some extra cash ) so my kids were very spoiled and they usally are i usally spent about 300-400 on ds 8 but last yr he got wii and about 10 games new ds and two games and like 4 small things. have no idea this year. he did ask for his own ps3 i siad no. ds 5 he got alot of things incl the smart cycle spent about 200-250 on him this yr i have no idea as they dont ask for much anymore cause they all have it. and share them . ds 17 never really asks for much. i just buy what ever is hot that year for him cause hes not into anything but music. and movies. so last year i got him the ps3 80 gb. plays it ever day and so does my ds 8 with him. he is to get his dl tomorrow so i was thinking a visa card for gas. navigator, and he wants the tom delong guitar. that alone is 500. so im really not sure what im gonna do. i will be out of work (collecting) but wont be the same as me working. dh and i usally only buy something small. but last year he got me such great gifts. i dont think this year we will be doing it again

last yr was my first year out at best buy. the only reason i stayed was cause i was so close to the front of the line. when it was time to start giving the tickets, flyers what ever they were. i made it a point. i had two people that wanted to stand on line with me and they did all night long. but there was more of us. so as for ticket time they stood out side the line. when they were done handing out they came back in line. but when they would hand me and tell me what the item was . i made it a point to let them know no thank u.. next person please. people online so tried to fallow my order it was a great time. till near the back the people just coming in and like 200 online were flipping out. but i was like 14 and 15 on line. the people on line in the front were not selling theres. but people in the middle were grabbing and selling which i thought was rude. because if u would have just said no thank you . the person would not have to buy a ticket. jmo. come the holidays im so about helping people out. and that is what i did . got mine and for others. i know everyone wants and its unfair how many they put out. but really if u decide to stay home on thanksgiving and eat with family and hope to get this stuff come midnight when u go to the store. look at the line. chances of getting it are slim. i would drive away. i guess depends on how bad u really want it and what u will do to get it.

woo hoo got my ds 9 two pair and then my ds 5 one paid , his needs to go back hes so small. now im gonna go and get me some. i didnt need many due to i was already done with cloths shopping . but now ill get me some. and take ds 17 to do his. he wont wear jeans . hes weired. only dickies. even in the summer. lol thanks for the heads up .

ty for the heads up on the sneakers. i went threw there closet tonight cause the power went out . so they tried on everything . so many things are still big on then cause my kids never grow. so with what i got yesterday and had . ds5 has 9 outfits and like 8 extra shirts. ordered him some sneakers on line last night and he has a new pair he just fit in to and will out grow soon. so only need underware and socks for him and im done. ds9 my skinny minni,he has 7 outfits . and like 5 extra shirts. and new socks and ordered him sneakers last night on line. he was cute he says i want dcs mom. i was like umm k. he says how much are they? i said why? he said what ever is cheepier is fine . awwwwwww .. so cute. so he got vans from khols . lol. so all he needs is underware. and im done woohoo. ohh wait he did ask me if he can get a nice neckless.lol.. his birthday is sept 6 so i will get him a cool one. lol now my ds16 well 17 on sept 4 he is gonna cost me. only wears dickies lol and certain type shirts he finds online . grrr gonna have to look into that one.

ok i stoped by tonight cause i had a bad day at work. to i had the 15% off and a 30 gift card. so i looked arround nothing was on sale that i would think was a sale. no summer stuff really. but i did get my soon to be kinder child and my last one (my baby). two pairs and jeans and two shirts on rack with long sleeves . was i think 48.00 something like that he taked me into trying for a card i said i wont get it i have my thing flaged due to the identy theft two wks ago. lol anyway he siad ill give ya 30% off either way . i was like ok . didnt get the card but got % off and with the gift card the two outfits cost me .22 lmao lol that was the best i think i ever did. lol then i walked to yankee got two candles i had some money left on my card i got for my birthday so the two cost me 26.00 lg candles then i walked down to the gap. ohh boy this was gonna be the big one. ( so i thought) ds 4 pairs of jeans off the sale rack and ds5 one pair of swooshies. and 4 shirts . with coupon i paid 83.00 woohoo. so they both have so far 3 full sets and i still have some in the closet i got end of last yr i have to go threw. then i took a walk to nyco. for me heheh 78.00 6 or 7 tops after post card 30.00 off i paid 48.00 great night for me . since i was not planning . just needed a night out after a bad bad day at work. only to find out hubby got my aol act terminated after 11 yrs . all my info and bills and what ever medical i had saved in email for my son . man was i mad so now this is my new sn one that i hate but my friend mike said do it do it. so i did. for laughs. so i was loves3o now hotcourgar40 lol ohh well .. thanks all for your help now i have to find good deals on sneakers . i do have the 10 to jcpenny ill see what i can find there,. need socks and underware and im done .
