Yes, the code 2007 will get you the New Year's Tote. I just ordered last night, and used it.
You can also use VSGLOSS to get a free one-size tank top and lip gloss.
SEMI is another free shipping on $100+.
I could not get any of the free shipping codes to work with the tiered code when I tried.

Target has the same policy, I sure don't see it hurting them. And so does Kmart for that matter.
Most of my shopping has been at TRU this season, and everytime I've been asked if I need a gift receipt. It's really not that difficult to tape a gift receipt to the gift, in case something is wrong with it. Takes an extra 5 seconds of time.
Heck, even Walmart has started buckling down on their return policy. It's a sign of the times.
Refusing to shop at a store because of their return policy is just stupid. People have been complaining about TRU's return policy for months now, but everytime I've walked in there this season, they've been packed, so I doubt most of those complainers are actually "boycotting" TRU.
I've been able to return a defective item, without a receipt -- cash purchase, at Target -- in exchange for another of the item -- with no problems whatsoever. I have also never had a problem returning at WM.

I'm a bit upset with Amazon also!
They said I'd receive an email when the PS3's were in stock.
They did not handle any of that correctly
I didn't mind much until I went back & my wish/shopping lists were gone...
Then subscriber email I signed up for, I haven't been informed of anything. I constantly have to sign in. Not a cookies prob.
Today I signed in, tried to post. Message opened up saying I've never ordered & I have.
I feel better now!

I was completly shocked when I got the message. I wanted to call someone so bad but it was the middle of the night, so I waited til 6 am, lol, and called my mom. Now I just need to find atleast one game for it that isnt too expensive.
I don't know if it was posted yet, but CC has some 360 games for $47.99. Not the greatest, but it's better than $59.99!

I've had some items come within 1-2 days after ordering with the free shipping, and some take up ten days or so. It depends on where the item(s) ship from. I recently ordered an Xbox 360 memory card, and a DVD. The card was here 2 days after ordering, and the DVD just arrived this past Tuesday (the card was here the week before).
I'm sure they are also swamped right now due to the holidays, so the time for them to get it shipped out will vary a lot now as well as the delivery time of the carrier.

iPod. It's established, and Apple is more reliable than Microsoft. I'd do a Google search on the Zune, because I'm sure I heard recently about some problem with it.

I don't know if the codes are different. If anyone has a Cars or Pirates 2 one they want to PM to me, I'll see if it matches the one I have. (I won't use it, so if you've already used it, then that's fine, just wondering if they are different.)
I did a survey a few days ago that I got 100 points for, so I think I have to wait for another to be posted up.

They're promo items, with extremely limited quantities. It will be near impossible to get them, so I wouldn't use those experiences against the company. The Xbox one was a disaster, but they have changed the system now to a more sensible one (I haven't used it, other than voting so far, so I don't know how fair it is or if it works properly).

USPS is the worst when it comes to holiday season shipping, from my experience. The tracking numbers for them never help, either, as the message you're receiving is the only one you're probably going to receive.

I ordered from them a few times last year for Christmas, and had no problems. I also ordered from them a couple of times during the year, without any problems.
The long shipment times are to be expected. It's the holiday season, so between the store and the shipping carrier, it's going to happen if you wait until December to order something online (or even the end of November).
I was upset, though, that I went to compare some prices on a couple of items I'll be ordering from Best Buy, and they upped the free shipping on most of the items to being $75+ qualifies for free shipping. So I'll be getting everything cheaper through Best Buy, and picking it up in the store.

We have a few choices around here, and IMO, WM is always a last-resort for me. I prefer Target by a landslide, and ever since WM cut prices on toys earlier in the "season", Target has been cutting prices to match (for the most part).

The Core system retails for $299.99. I'm not sure where in NY you're located, but I have seen plenty of the Core & Premium systems available, and you could always do in-store pickup at BB or CC.

Does he drink beer/wine/etc? I picked up a set of 4 pilsner glasses at Target the other day for $7 (originally $9.99 anyway, so it still fits in the price). They had the pilsner ones, wine, martini, etc. Or there were mugs for $12, and a few others for that price.
