  1. The new one has the clip too. I wanted the 2nd generation too--for the same reason, but gave up finding one at a decent price, and found out this one clipped. I'm not crazy about the controls being on the headphones, but the unit itself worked great clipped on during a workout, and I didn't pull it out of my ear using the controls (which was what I was afraid of when I first opened it up). I do hope you find one, as I borrowed my dd's 2nd generation a lot and loved it. I offered to trade her, but mine is pink and she wasn't going for that.
  2. All 3 of my kids have been having a lot of fun with this. :)
  3. I don't know how new this is, but Amazon has the funhouse in for $34.99. Sorry if it's old news--just got the alert. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002B54KLM?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=wiialerts-20
  4. I just saw this for the first time. Darn! My dd would have liked this. Glad you all got it.
  5. I just got an email that they cancelled my order due to lack of merchandise. Bummer
  6. I'm glad there are people like you. :)
  7. That made me think back on returns that I have made and not once have they ever opened up a box to make sure the item was in there. I just returned a box of Christmas lights since 1/2 the strip didn't work. Didn't check inside, just set them aside.
  8. Thank you. A friend of mine on Facebook has some very fun Bunco nights and I've been wanting to get it.
  9. I'm glad that you are getting a replacement and awesome also a $15 gc. Nice that it was dealt with in the most appropriate and decent way. :)
  10. I've used it many times and never had a complaint--well until a minor one recently. I went in to pick up my stuff and they couldn't find one of my items. They said it wasn't there. 2 different people looked in the back and they finally figured it was still in a pile that wasn't put away. Went back a couple days later, got someone knowledgeable and she brought it right out. She said they started putting smaller items in a box, instead of the shelf, and many of them don't know to look there yet. Other than that, never any issues.
  11. If they are a coffee drinker, I give them a few different flavored coffees (that run through the coffee machine) that I get from the grocery store. One of the teachers has a coffee pot in the room and LOVES them. I have him for the second year for my second dd and he's getting it again.
  12. My son wants one too, and I didn't know they were going to be hard to find, so I told my mom when she asked for suggestions--and she's frustrated because she can't find any. I told her to forget it. After all the frustrations I've had trying to get a Zhu Zhu, I don't want her worrying about it. I'll see if our mall has any if I can get there.
  13. My husband usually works on Thanksgiving, so the kids and I like to pull out the decorations once we get dinner cleared away. We had the flu this year, so we started a little on Thanksgiving, did some more on BF, then finished off on Sunday. I love the atmosphere that it provides, so I do it then to enjoy it for as long as I can. Of course kids always love it too---even the older ones do, though they aren't so outwardly excited.
  14. I only use red or yellow potatoes anymore--they are so much more creamier than regular old russets. Mmmmm. I also use a mixer--butter, milk (we use rice milk). Milk a little at a time or it gets too runny. Salt and pepper. Sometimes I change it up a bit and dice up some green onions and throw in a couple tablespoons of sour cream (we use soy). I've just noticed that more and more the regular russets from the store just don't taste good to me--flavor or texture. Might be just my store and whoever the grower is, but I only go with red or yellow now. Huge difference to me.
  15. Thanks for the post. I actually couldn't do this, as I went to the site last night after seeing this post and then opted to make a couple calendars. Used the GIFTS30 and saved a bit over $11. Wouldn't let me use both codes, but I accomplished two gifts. Last year was the first in a few that I didn't do calendars for people and I got complaints.
  16. Well, I have two girls, 13 and 16... I purchased them a henna kit for a stocking stuffer. I've always done practical stuff like you do, but this year I thought I'd throw that in too---and it doesn't last forever. But, my girls are very artistic, so I thought they could use the templates and do some of their own designs. Not everyone is into that, but a thought... Also got them some press on nail designs---and they have asked for the nail polish pens, as they like to do their own nail designs too.
  17. Same here, though I only saw one $10 game, the rest were $20 or up.
  18. I didn't buy anything major, but I got 3 smaller items and checked out before 1am--and did get my confirmation email.
  19. I guess I can't complain, my guy is at work, but I'm still tired and my dog is keeping me company.
  20. Our Walgreens got all their Turkey day items a week or more ago and put them all on shelves. I don't know if anything was left for the sale itself. I know they only had 3 of the tv's left three days ago.
  21. Thanks, I just happened to be looking for an itunes card deal last night. This was perfect! :)
