  1. I believe some times the stuff that rings up a penny was probably marked as 'do not inventory' at one point so that is why it comes up that price. As for the red tags ringing up the regular price, the cashier should have explained the policy but at least they asked someone else on. It sounds like that person was in a rush to do something else, rather than help you find out if the item was indeed selling at a cheaper price. Overall I'd say Target has way better customer service than walmart and other stores but in this case they didn't deliver.
  2. mindflex is new to me. I wonder how they compiled this. You'd think that new Dora doll would be on this list. It has been sold out every where in my area this week and talking to friends who work retail they said it was a made rush in the stores the day it came out.
  3. Target is really good about this. It probably has to do with them no wanting to be liable if they sold something after a recall was already issued. For the most part, Target stores will give you a discount on something similar if you ask. I think that is why people keep coming back. They know in the long run giving some one who shops there a lot the occasional few dollars discount is going to pay off in terms of overall sales in the long run.
  4. Moon sand is a big mess but it has always been an outside on the porch activity. I got an old plastic table cloth to play on and when its done I just roll it all up and put it in a storage tote.
  5. My local chick-fil-a is actually advertising this so I'm sure it will be a mad house on Monday but I still plan to go.
  6. Still $30 by me but I'll keep waiting. I wasn't really impressed by the clearance at my local Walmart this last time around. They are in the middle of redesigning so I figured clearance would be cheap so they would have more room but they've still got shelves of junk moved out to lawn and garden that has only been marked down 10-20% for weeks now.
  7. Yeah, ram has gotten pretty cheap lately and it is a breeze to upgrade in a laptop.
  8. Now that is customer service! Target knows how to keep people coming back. I'm not saying they have to do this but it is a really effective way to maintain customer loyalty.
  9. Its better than a netbook for not a whole lot more money. If you are doing any type of gaming, working with videos/pictures though the celeron and only 2GB of ram on vista is going to be slow going. With that said, I like Toshiba laptops, you are getting better quality and more resale value as opposed to something like an Acer which also sells a lot of budget laptops. I like the color scheme to on a notebook this cheap. It looks almost like a big DS Lite :)
  10. I hope so but I don't plan on waiting for it. I think we may see some cheaper ones as it gets closer to Christmas so I plan on picking up one of those. Last year best buy and walmart had some cheap computer deals late in the season and I didn't have to fight the crowds.
  11. Pool stuff still only 30% off here. I'm hoping to get some googles before they reset but I want them cheaper.
  12. Only one coupon per purchase but there are plenty of good stuff there that only cost around $5. I remember when I signed up I got one of these and got a shirt on sale and only had to pay tax for it after the coupon. I may have to try this ebay deal. Its only $1 risk and if it works once it pays for itself.
  13. I was going to get the sharpener, they still had plenty when I went but I've heard too many bad stories about staples rebates being a rip off to chance it.
  14. Thanks for this. Game seems to have mixed reviews but for $20 it is hard to go too wrong.
  15. Wow I've never heard of a Target not honoring their own register prices. That is crazy.
  16. How do you go about trading points? I have over 500 that I probably won't use but if I could get something useful in trade that would be awesome.
  17. My Target toys already reset with none of these deals. I've been checking but they never went below 50% and didn't have things I was looking for like legos.
  18. Yeah, they probably do that so people can't use the gift card to make another purchase that same trip. They figure the more times they get you in the store, the more you will spend. I personally hate that if it is the case but I didn't go today so I can't verify the 6 hour rule.
  19. Great price but lousy video card. I was really tempted since I need a new laptop but this won't even do the bare minimum for even games from 07 and 08 so I'll pass. Otherwise, if you don't play any games I say grab this. I checked online and was surprised it didn't sell out already.
  20. BB is annoying about that. Some of the people there act like computer experts when selling you something but if you ask them a question suddenly their mind goes blank and they have to ask.
  21. If you miss this one. Circuit city online has a refurb Acer with 3gb ram for $299 as well with free shipping.
  22. Only one leapster here this weekend but its still $55. By the time it goes to $20 it is sure to be gone so I think I'm gonna give up on getting this great deal. Congrats to those of you who did get it though.
  23. Awesome, it certainly depends on the walmart. The one by my house hardly ever does clearance but the one near my sister does these great mark downs like you mentioned usually after Christmas. I don't think I've seen spring mark downs like this before though.
  24. They are good about doing it. It just has to be within the last 30 days. It seems to me though that whenever they lower the price of a video game its always right at the weekend after the 30 days are up so I rarely get to take advantage of the policy. Oh well.
