Thanks so much for checking on the toy markdowns. I'll be visiting my Target today (as if I don't go almost everyday work day since I work across the street from it- lol .

I seems like my local Targets are gearing up for 75% clearance sales. All of the clearance toys were all scattered throughout the toy department but today I saw they put all of the clearance toys in the last 3 aisles. They are all marked 50% off but I'm hoping within the next couple of weeks they'll be down to 75% so I can stock up.

Thanks. That would be very nice of you. I've bought a couple of things for my 4 kids for next Christmas but they now want electronic things like cubeworld and password journals. So if I can get some of those early (and cheaper) I'll be that much mroe ahead of the game. LOL!

childofsolitude - -Do you think the toys will get down to the 75%? Or have any idea when that might happen? Thanks!

Last year,the toys were marked down about 3 wks after Christmas (1/09/06) here in MN. I still have those receipts for some reason. Lol

For those who have been waiting for Target's 75% off, I wanted to say that the outdoor decorations that I wanted I ended up buying at Walgreen for 75% this morning - some of the items were even cheaper. The inflatable globe was org. $99 at Walgreen but 75% off to $25. The same globe is orig priced $130 75% clearanced $33. So I did better buying from Walgreen then I did at Target (at least for the outdoor deco). I did great on other things so. Just an fyi to those who haven't checked out Walgreen's yet.

Target was a mad house today!! I bought 2 girls lip gloss sets, 3 Christmas cds, recording keychain, jewelry box, car cleaning kit, clorox wipes, foundue pot, lots of stocking stuffers for the kids for next year, outdoor ext. cords, candy and cookies, and the Ethereal Princess Barbie and the Golden Angel Barbie (org. $40 each). After clearance and gift cards, I spent $27. But I have to go back an return a PJ set that the guy mistakenly rang up that I had put back so when I go back for my $20, I will only have paid $7.!!! Made out like a bandit!!!!

I went to Walgreen at 7Am today and the Christmas items were still ringing up 50% but they were just waiting for the computer to switch the prices to 75%. I racked up!! I bought: 30 in tinsel polar bear for 7.50 10 pack candy cane lights 2.50 lighted tree topper 2.50 2 boxes of spiral trees 5.00 2 pk reindeer 5.00 3ft tinsel snowman 7.50 and some other things all for only $39. Yippeeeeee!

Kristin- I just left the St. Paul Midway Target and that train set is on clearance but I don't remember the price. 75% off at that Target too!! and at Walgreen!

I scanned the stuff at my local store and still 50%.

When I went at midnight,I racked up on Natica, Oscar de la Renta and Curve sets as well as several different bath sets and ornaments. Went back this morning and bought dish sets, hurricanes lamps, candles, paper products, more ornaments and gifts for Christmas 2007. I just love clearance sales!!

I was up bright and early to go Target and still at 50% here in Minnesota. So I took my money to Wal-Mart since they went 75% today. Yeah!!! :)

I'd advise you to go to Wal-Mart to check the prices yourself. I wanted to get a couple more things so I called a WM that is closer to me and asked about the clearance and she said everything is 50% off. But I decided to go there anyway and the items scanned at 75% off. Maybe the employees don't know that the items really are reduced. So either call the store and have them to scan the price of an item or going there yourself is good.

I haven't seen anymore of these bikes for a while now. They were clearanced items and they were salvage items so if any are left, they may have been donated by now.

I went to Wal-Mart tonight and at 12:15AM, the Christmas items were still ringing up 50% off. So I walked around the store for a while and went back to scan the items and at 12:30AM everything rang up 75% off. So I racked up on bath sets, colognes, bulbs, etc. I got $200+ worht for the items for $50. Thanks so much for the tip. I really appreciated it!!! :)

Thanks for the info. St. Cloud's about 1 1/2hr away so I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Which Target in Minnesota did you go to please? I went to the Mpls downtown, Lake St, St. Paul, Bloomington,and Brooklyn Center.

I'm going to email them for status since I also ordered in 12/14 and haven't received them.

I just got back from Target and Christmas deco still 50% here too. I called 3 other Targets in my area and they are also still at 50%. What gives? Not happy with Target right now.

I do most of my Christmas shopping for the following year after the prior year's toys go on clearance. I can't wait for the toys here in Mpls to og 75% so I can stock up for 2007 birthdays and christmas presents. Thanks to this site, I've already got a good start for next year. Maybe with any luck, I'll be done with all of my shopping by the end of Jan. :)

Thanks for the info. I had bought a karoke cd for my girls and the words didn't show up and I was a little confused. But the kids liked it since it was all disney songs. I'll have to find the cvd cd's now.

I have to stop by WM to see what kind of deals can be had. I need more Christmas ornaments for next year.
