You know, I didn't pay much attention to the prices, I just noticed 50% off. But if the violins are that cheap, I may have to get them because my kids play violin at school. The rental fee for each kid per school year is $40 so for $49 to actuall have them would be a nice investment.

The digital photo keychains are back on Office Depot for $4.99. i just bought 2 tonight.

It looks like Toy R Us will have some really cute keychain digital cameras on sale next week for $14.99.

I saw a couple of toys (Polly Pocket and a National Geographic Beetle set) on 15% clearance. Nothing major. Oh....A lady picked up another $75 Schwinn 24" bike for $40 (was $190). I'm glad I got my 3 last week.

I wanted them but not the right sizes. Maybe next time.

Which is better - the Roboreptile or the Robopet dog?

My best buys have been the 3 karoke machines from overstock.com for $16 each and the many clearance items and free dvd system and fridge from officedepot.com.

Now I'm worried. I bought 3 of these and they are already wrapped. I'd hate to unwrap them but I guess I'd hate it even more if they didn't work. Maybe will try all 3 this weekend.

I know what you mean. I did most of my Christmas shopping for my 4 kids in Jan 2006 and just saved the stuff until now because I bought most of the toys at 75%. I did do some on-line shopping and BF because of the good deals posted on GD. I told my kids that we'll go do some more shopping after Xmas and they were understanding. Maybe you can try that with your kids too. Good luck!

I'd advise you to call Target and ask for the Furniture dept and speak with someone who actually works that area because I would think they would know better than the operator if the V Rockers are there. I purchased one of those for my BF but I had to get a person who worked in that area because everyone else said they were sold out. But they had more in the backroom and no everyone was as helpful as they could have been.

An employee told me that Target will not price match on on-line items nor will they price match between stores. The Target that is 5 mins from my house have different clearance schedules than the Target that is 15 mins away and I've never been able to get them to give me the lower of the two prices.

That's how mine came too. It looked to me like the overstock.com was trying to clear out their inventory and they opened up the boxes to add some bonus equipment. I'd imagine that the plastic was open on one of the mics so that all 3 would fit in the box.
