Thanks for the advice. I just called my Target and spoke with Tracy and she confirmed that if any item purchased is in the BF ad and it was purchased withing 14 days and you have the original receipt, they will give you the price difference. Yippeee!!

My Target had 3 of these in stock over the weekend so I plan to stop by there after work to pick one up for a Christmas present and then bring in the reciept for a price adjustment on BF.

I just did that. I bought 3 items that will be on sale on BF and I'll get the price difference then. Unfortunately, everything that I wanted wasn't out on the sales floor but at least I got a jump on my shopping!!

This would be great because all TRU had that I want on BF is the roll up piano, the DVD player with the 20 movies and the WWE 4 pack. Maybe I'll go buy them this weekend and go back on BF for the price adjustment.

Does anyone know if K-Mart will price adjust for BF items if they are purchased prior to 11/24? I was thinking of buying the Furreal Newborns and the Moon Sand early to avoid the lines.

Walgreen's does that a telescope that I plan on buying since my 6yr put it on his Santa Clause list. Better to pay $10 than $25 for the National Geographic telescope at Target. Hopefully I can pick it up on my way to Wal-Mart. LOL

I too agree that this years ads have not been the best. I still am planning to go but for the first time in a while I wouldn't be standing in line waiting for a store to open because the deals just aren't that good. I hope that the retailers will realize they've made a mistake in the BF pricing and will reduce the prices even more on the following weeks up til Christmas.

I've never been to a Wal-Mart Super Center because there are other regular Wal-Mart's that are close to me. But can you really wait inside the store for the BF specials? Because maybe I'll make the drive to it to avoid the Minnesota cold.

The K-Mart ad doesn't come in our paper due to regional process changes, however, the ad is available on the K-Mart website.

I usually go to Wal-Mart first and stand in line for an hour for the doorbusters but their ad wasn't that good to me this year. I already put some of the items that I wanted on layaway and I'll pick them up before 11am but my first stop will be to Target. I too want that $33 Vrocker chair and the Barbie ATM bank.

I put idogs on layaway at WM yesterday and then I will get it price adjusted when I picked up the layaway on BF.

I just went ot TRU and I must have missed all of the Pick me up pups. But I did get a couple of Bratz jewelry kits on clearance and I was able to use the $5 off coupon. Thanks!

I just went to a different Wal-Mart in St. Paul and the layaway rep there says they will adjust the item if I get it out at the BF time. However, most of items that I wanted were not on the floor, like Georges Leather Jacket or the Vrocker chair. But I did get 2 Idogs, 2 Bissel 3 in 1 stick vacuums and the Durabrand slow cooker (the mixer and the toasters were out). So, now I won't have to stand in line at 3AM on BF since I got most of the things that I wanted for Christmas. I'm pretty excited!

Question - This question may have been asked before and I may not have seen it but here goes----If I purchase something at Wal-Mart today that will go on sale on BF, will they give me the difference? Also, I just called my local Wal-Mart to see if they would price match any BF items if I put them on layaway today and they won't do it. So, I may have to wait in the line at 3am after all.

You know, I never, ever though about price matching the early bird specials. If I did that though, it would save me from having to run around to several different stores. I'll have to price match when I get to Wal-Mart. Thanks guys for the great idea!

On BF, stores will try to entice shoppers to their stores first by offering additional price discounts for certain items that you buy if you shop between say 5AM to 11AM. It's during this time that you'll find the best deals. Hope this helps!!

I just bought a Mr. Coffee Home Cafe coffee, cappuccino, tea, latte all-in-one machine, originally priced at $79.99 on clearance for $19.99. My mom has wanted one for a year now so this will be her Christmas gift.

Question - When you get a ticket for one of the items, do you have to continue to stand in line to wait for the store ti open or does having the ticket automatically entitle you to the purchase? I really want that LCD TV!!

Before I got a new coupon book from Target yesterday, I had printed a coupon from the internet for the Monopoly Here and Now game and they scanned it like a regular coupon. So hopefully, the internet coupon you print will work for you too. Good luck!!

Mine knows that I usually get good deals on Christmas toys so he just gives me the money to buy whatever I want. He even asks me to shop for his kids from a previous marriage. He says I'm addicted to shopping but I said no, I'm addicted to saving and getting a good bargain!
