I just went and got 4 pairs for me and 5 for my husband, had to get in line 3 times. One of the cashiers said that they opened at 9 and people were lined up at 7:30 and that they ran out of the kids in like 2 hours. They had lots of adults jeans but they were just thrown in piles all over the place and it was a pita to find sizes.

I opened my daughters even though they are birthday presents for her, I figured it was OK because I was giving her the charm bracelet too. I think it's until they are gone ??

Thanks everyone! Got them yesterday and the picture on the TV looks great! My husband was going to go to Best Buy and spend like $100 on something that I got for $3 I actually spent under $15 for 3 of them

Best Buy just REFUSED to take the coupon, it didn't scan so she called over someone and he told me that the coupon says that it cannot be doubled so they can't take it ??? he went and asked someone else and they said no. So I went to Target and got the giftcard instead.

I agree, sometimes you just stumble upon really great clearance there and then they advertise a clearance sale and you go in & the prices stink! You just have to keep checking once a week if you see something you want on clearance until it goes down low enough or they are low on stock.

We had a buffalo and had problems with it sometimes, we have a Netgear one now and it has worked great.

My question is are the cables the same if you are using it for cable or video game or does any HDMI cable work on anything, or are there specific ones depending on what you are using them for? I hope not because I went ahead and bought 3 (thank you rossman!) because we are getting a new tv soon and will have to buy one for that one anyways and I wasn't sure if we could/should also replace the cable from the tv to the 360 with one of those also.

Will any one do? It's for from the cable box to the tv, xbox 360 is also hooked up to the tv. The TV is hi-def and we do have the hi-def cable package. They are pretty expensive at best buy but I went to newegg.com and they have some pretty cheap ones. Is any one OK or do we need a specific one, or is it better to get the expensive ones? The TV is a LCD Magnavox. I'm TV illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff.

buy one as soon as you find one, sometimes the game systems can be pretty hard to find (even not on sale) at christmastime

In my experiences the people that sleep out and wait in line for hours and hours are never the people trying to cut in line & pushing & shoving and causing problems, they are the nice ones. It's the people that get into line right before a store opens and for some reason think they don't have to respect the lines or order or ticket systems and try to push or cut their way to the front, those people are the ignorant ones. Every year I wait in the Menards (hardware store) line here and watch people pull into the parking lot 5 minutes before the store opens and see that the line is wrapped around the front of the store & then stand towards the door and pretend to be talking on their cell phones in the parking lot so that when they open the doors they try to run into the store. People do it every year.

and the people that get in a line like 15 minutes before a store opens, don't get the doorbusters and then say that they're "never shopping there again"

I meant does your family have you pick up things for them? And you don't go with anyone that you know outside of BF/BB line? I agree, other stores could learn from best buy, I think circuit city has started doing something similar.

I missed this last year. You really sit out there for 30 hours? WOW! Do you go by yourself or with someone? Do you buy for only yourself or do others in your family have you get things for them? Is that the only store you go to? I go with my son and his girlfriend and a friend of mine, and we split up & get in line at different stores or like in Kohls take turns shopping while someone gets in line, or go into a store and split up each person grabbing a certain item.

The soft ones should all be waterproof. We got one from Target a few years ago & it's great. We do take it off each night at hotels because someone could come by and cut it off & take all your luggage while you are sleeping.
