  1. Went to one of our stores. Did not buy a thing. Not really good prices and stinky fragrance choices. I was hoping to score some of the "retired" fragrances that I can not get on a regular basis. No such luck.... Might try our other store later in the week.
  2. Hmmmm.......this sale was WAY better last year. I remember getting 20 bottles of antibacterial hand soap, both the creamy one and the foam one for $1.67 each and then, using a $10 off $30 making them just $1.17 each. I had gifts for every occasion all year! Also had more choices in the $3.00 body creams. I got 10 of those for 2 bucks a piece after using another $10 off $30. I think I will wait a few days and see if it gets better and see if it's any better in store.
  3. Me too, my bathroom is black and white. Pastels are not allowed in my bathroom.
  4. I hate Radio Shack. The one here has the worst employees. Walk in the store, I am the ONLY customer, 2 employees are chatting and texting behind the counter. I ask where something is, one reluctantly stops texting, rolls his eyes and points to the rechargeable betteries I asked about. They are 10 bucks higher than anyone else in town and I point that out. "You want it or not, lady?" Rolls his eyes again and goes back to chatting with his co-worker. I emailed corporate about my experience. I NEVER got a response! Not even a "form" letter! Radio Shack does not care about it's customers at ANY level!!! I am surprised they are even still in business at all.
  5. Ummm...yeah, I was thinking you meant something from the "Adult Entertainment" store. So, it is more like a "Practical joke" gift???
  6. Thank you both for the tips. I had better luck today. I went in 2 diff stores and had started out with $21 in RR's and after both trips, I had 2 bags full of stuff and $31 worth of RR's! LOL Now, I gotta figure out how to use those up in 2 weeks. I made sure that the RR's I handed over were not ones from the items I was currently buying. I guess that I did not buy anything from the same company in any one transaction, so I do not know if it would of denied me another RR or not??? I do have to agree that every time I checked out these past few 3 days, every cashier was helpful, patient and more than willing to do multiple transactions. The company must of sent down different training manuals recently. :) I did make one Rookie mistake yesterday and ended up PAYING for the $5.99 bottle of wine! GRRR.....I forgot that I had added in the $5 RR from the last bottle of wine to my pile. Oh well, I am still coming out WAY ahead in all of my transactions and will not have to buy toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss picks, shaving cream, razors, blades, chia seeds or deodorant for a LONG time. ( the wine may not last as long ) There are pros and cons to both Wag's and CVS reward systems. I DO like the fact that you can buy and roll at Wags as many times as you want. But, I do like to be able to combine CVS bucks all for one item if I want to. I just gotta get all the rules and regs. down! I am glad you cleared up my confusion about the fillers. I think I got it now.....
  7. I made 3 different trips to Wag's today and also had a good experience. All were nice, helpful patient and willing to do multiple transactions. I learned a little on these trips. If you use an RR from an item and then buy the SAME item again using that RR, you will not get another RR. RR's are not good on alcohol. There was a wine that was $5.99 with a $5.00 RR. I tried to get more wine with the RR and was told they were not good on alcohol. I know, it says it on the RR itself, but I did not have glasses with me and could not read the fine print. I also did not realize that you could not combine RR's and use more than one on one item. Wanted a $10 item and thought I was going to combine a $6 and (2) $2 ones, but could not. Said I had to have as many items as RR's. OK, can someone tell me....does each item have to meet or exceed the value of an RR? Example: I want a $10 item and have (5) $2 RR's. Can I get one $10 item and (4) 50 cent candy bars and still use the (5) RR's??? LOL...I thought I was good at this, but never had a total of 13 RR's equaling 41 bucks before! I want to get the max. mileage out of them.
  8. Did anyone try to use the Younlers $10 coupon today??? Here is my experience: Went to my local Younkers this morning armed with the $10 coupon from the ad in yesterday's paper. WHAT A CROCK OF SH**!! (pardon my language) I got in the line 3 times, thinking I had it figured out and each time was told the coupon would not work on what I wanted to purchase! First, I had 4 pair of socks....:"Sorry, those are Doorbusters" Then, 5 pieces of $2.00 fudge...."Sorry, an individual item has to be at least $10" Then, a clearance item...."Sorry, that is a YELLOW DOT" clearance. AAGGHH! After tromping around the store for another 30 minutes, I see that 90% of the store has green "Doorbuster" signs on it. The ONLY items I saw that had the tiny little "you may use your $10 coupon on this" signs was a $189 bedding set and a $79 purse! I was not the ONLY one frustrated with the complicated exclusions. There were people all over the store commenting on it. Some laughed...it was a joke. Some, like me, were mad and felt tricked. I ended up leaving and left the coupon laying on the steps outside the door of the store. Let some other sucker try and figure out how to use the worthless coupon. In the past, Younkers was always one of my early stops on Black Friday, armed with the $10 coupon and I have NEVER had such trouble using it before! Well, those days are done for me and many others. I will NEVER waste any time or effort on Younkers BF coupon again. I suppose there are many executives at Younkers HQ chuckling over this one. Gee.....what else can we add to the fine print to make sure that no one gets to use this coupon???? Very funny. Well, your plan may of backfired. I am not the only one who left a Younkers with a bad feeling today. I have even seen mention of your stupid coupon on Black Friday message boards and blogs today. Younkers is the joke of Black Friday stories this year!
  9. Stopped putting one up 4 years ago. Bah Humbug. When I used to do it, it never went up before Dec. 4th. That is my B-day and I always felt robbed if the tree was up before then.
  10. GottaDeal has been my homepage for years. I check in every day and will again this next year. I don't post as much as I used to, but that doesn't mean I'm not lurking around. :)

  12. I am not very "girlie" so my preference is cargo pants. Big pockets on the thigh that hold everything I need and keep my hands free. Also, no back pain from a purse hanging off one shoulder.
  13. How about sweatpants? The kind where the logs is plastered right across the whole butt? Those are kind of like a car wreck....you don't WANT to look and appear to be staring at someone's butt, but you can't help but read what is there.
  14. Yeah, the link I had does not work either. Google search did not turn one up, either.
  15. Saved. If it disappears, I am sure that one of us can provide a copy later.
  16. That's odd....why would they offer a BETTER deal on 6 months than on a whole year? At the rates you posted, it makes a LOT more sense to do 6 months at a time!
  17. Regarding all of the posts about the undercover security......those people are just doing their JOBS and probably for about 10 bucks an hour. If you are not doing anything wrong, then you do not have anything to worry about. Just ignore them. I assume they are bored out of their skulls about 90% of the time and just follow whoever happens to be there for lack of nothing better to do. I am guessing that if you demand to speak to a manager, they will tell you about the same thing. I'm just sayin'..... So, back to the subject. Did Easter Dollar Spot get reduced yet?
  18. Do you see the code right after you pay? Or, it is emailed to you soon after?
  19. I just tried again. The pants ARE available if I do not use the promo code. But, oncce I pu it in, then the order summary says "not available" WTF???? Since when is their promo codes not good on sale priced stuff? Found this INSTORE one for friday and saturday, feb. 25 and 26 http://www.printablecouponfeed.com/jcpenney/26427
