YAY, finally the school supplies were 50% today in Lewisville, Texas. Lots of backpacks, lunch boxes (I didn't know that lunch boxes come empty now), tons of folders, index cards, spiral notebooks, .03 crayons, glue sticks. Bought lots of Transformers folders for .24 Wonder if they will mark those things down even further.

Sure!! My DS(11) takes my post it's all the time to write notes and stick them on my door, computer, refrigerator, etc. Don't forget there are coupons online for post it's too - I used two on the marked down football, baseball ones last weekend.

Went to the store in Lewisville, Texas last night: School supplies still 30% off Did get some Pirates stuff at the $1 spot for 75% off Nascar still 50% off Spiderman Monopoly was $20.28 - guess it's still only 30% off still waiting for the school supplies, Monopoly and Nascar stuff to go lower. I had two post it note coupons printed from the internet - I bought two post it notes that were marked down and they had to call over a manager for 2 coupons........she said that any coupon from the Internet the manager has to see.

Well, I went to Circuit City last night just to see what they said to me. I asked at the customer service counter saying that I couldn't find the game and the girl was going to help me find the game in the store when the guy next to her said "we sold out." I repeated "you sold out" and he said "yes." Then the girl said "oh, yea I looked for it earlier and couldn't find it, we sold out." I wanted to say LIARS!!! but I held my tongue and walked out. I didn't want another gift card - I really went to see if MAYBE it had come in since DS(11) is driving me crazy and has been for months over this game. What if I didn't know the manufacturer delayed shipping - I would of drove all over town going to different Circuit City's because that guy told me it SOLD OUT which means to me that they got them in stock. Poor customer service if you ask me.

Yup, sure is!!! I wonder how many free $20.00 gift cards Circuity City is going to have to hand out today - OUCH!!! Hubby said the manager was NOT happy either. I know DS(11) is not happy - he's been talking about this game coming out for MONTHS, now he has to wait 2 more days.

EA Sports was suppose to release SKATE for the XBOX 360 today but for some unknown reason had to postpone it until Friday the 14th. In Sunday's Circuit City's ad they had SKATE advertised as being IN STORES by 2:00pm TODAY and if it's not they will give you a $20.00 Circuit City giftcard. DS(11) and DH went to Circuit City today at 2:00 and just what we thought - SKATE was NOT available but they had to give him the $20.00 gift card. So now when it comes out on Friday of this week instead of paying $59.99 - it'll be $39.99. So, if you were planning on buying SKATE - go to Circuit City today and mention the Sunday ad for the $20.00 gift card since the game is being held for release until Friday. Gotta love free MONEY!!

I had talked myself out of ordering any candles until I saw the $10.00 off $25.00 code - couldn't pass that one up so I ordered 25 tarts for $22.68 - making candle baskets for Christmas presents.

Your lucky then. I've tried several times and every time I'm told the same thing - Kroger does NOT take internet coupons - which I think stinks because they are a coupon like the others, doesn't really matter where you get them.

You all are very welcome!!! Mine arrived yesterday and DS(11) asked for waffles last night. The only thing I had on hand was a package of pancake mix that you mix with water. He said they were the best pancakes (he calls them pancakes since they are so fluffy) he's ever had and wants them again tonight. I love this waffler a lot better than my old Mickey one from the 80's.......this one makes fluffier waffles and I love that it has a stand built in so you can leave it on the counter without taking up a lot of space. Best $10.79 I ever spent!!

Last week I saw big boxes sitting on the shelves at the Dollar Tree. I looked at one and the picture was a Haunted House - I thought it's a little early for Halloween, then I opened the box and saw the card which said Fitz and Floyd. I know who they are and I knew it was a bargain for $1 so I put it in my cart. When I got home and opened it up and took it out there was a place on the bottom to put three batteries - it lights up and makes ghost sounds and I just LOVE IT!!! Hubby was saying "what did you buy that for?" I said it was $1.00 and I bet it retails for a lot more. Men just don't understand women's need for knick-knacks, LOL!!! It's from 2004 and I managed to find that it retailed for $32.00. I now wished I had bought more of them to give out as gifts - what was I thinking. I went back two days later didn't think I'd find any more but I did find one more so I grabbed it. When I checked out the cashier said "someone had a cart full of those today" I said "I bet and I bet they put them on EBAY" The cashier just kind of looked at me like she had no idea. I ALWAYS stop at the Dollar Tree at least once a week because like someone else said you never know what your going to find for $1.00 and their stock changes very quickly.

Glad to see everyone so excited as I was to find this. I have one from the mid-80's - still works but the outside looks horrible. I hope this one lasts as long as my old one has.

Well, I ordered one thing on Thursday of last week and by Friday afternoon I had the shipping confirmation. I then ordered a bunch of stuff on Friday afternoon and it's still sitting there - no shipping confirmation, no nothing, just says active but hasn't shipped. I read on another board that some people have gotten emails saying their item was not available. I also read where the prices were wrong on Friday and I'm afraid they don't want to sell the stuff at those prices. I'm a little concerned too.

I shop online a lot at Disney and have noticed that when a new code comes out - prices change. Once I was watching some luggage that was around $45.00 - a couple of days later a code came out I went to buy the luggage and they upped the price to something like $69.95. Disney is notorious for upping their prices from one day to the next - not fair if you ask me. Luckily this time I placed an order on Friday afternoon - still waiting to see if it ships or not. I bought several of the men's PJ's for $5.99 - that's a great price since they were regularly $39.95.

FYI- If your looking for Choxie candy bars look at the cash registers - my store hasn't had any on the shelves with the candy for a couple of weeks then I saw them at the cash register - every cash register at my Target had a box of the Peanut Butter ones and the chocolate ones. I bought 5 more choxie bars and 5 chips. **I secretly wonder if they were trying to hide them until the coupons expire**

Yes, it doesn't work. I had the exact same problem with the controller that came with the Wii - put in the batteries, no blue lights, no nothing. I just thought it weird that this makes TWICE that I've gotten a controller that doesn't work - what are the odds of that???
