I about died when I saw the glue sticks today - WOW!! I ordered two because I do lots of crafts - these will last a very long time.

I was in Sam's Club earlier this week and saw some Christmas stuff really low priced - they just put a new price tag on the items and what the regular price used to be. I'm not sure if I've ever seen any clothes on sale though

They weren't in the Christmas stuff, were they???? Man, I forgot to check the calendars and I saw them a couple of weeks ago - they are probably gone now.

As a NASCAR fan I think I found some GREAT bargains: Dale Sr. big stocking for .79/reg. $7.99; Dale Jr. big stocking for .79/reg. $7.99; Jeff Gordon mini stocking for .19/43g. $1.99; 2 boxes of Peppridge Farm chocolate chunk cookies for .39/each; and 2 boxes of Keebler Mint patties for .24/each All for a grand total of $3.17 - can't beat that!! My store had lots of wrapping paper and bows but I bought enough last year to last at least through next year so I passed on all that stuff.

Holy Moly - $41.00 for a carton of cigs????? Here in Texas I pay $25.xx for a carton of Marlboros and I thought that was high. I also routinely get 4 - $4.00 or $3.00 off coupons every other month from Marlboro to use.

Well, darn it I was going to make baby baskets with the teddy bears as several relatives are expecting this year.

I was in Target on Sunday and as my son was playing video games I happened to look down in the case and saw 4 XBOX 360' - 2 of each system -too bad I'm broke from Christmas, LOL!!! I bet in the next couple of weeks we will start seeing them on the shelves everywhere and that's when I'll put one on layaway at Walmart.

I went back yesterday afternoon to get more of the .23/mini-scrapbooks and found a bucket of those foam Spongebob characters for $1.49/reg. $5.96 and some more scrapbook stuff on sale. All this stuff was NOT in the Christmas section, it was still in the arts and crafts section.

I did before I left the store - I went straight to the service desk and told them if the promotion was over to take down the signs in the game department, the lady gave me the $10.00 gift card but told another employee that they were told this morning the promotion is over, it won't ring up and told her to go take down the signs - so unfair to everyone shopping today and tomorrow. I would of gone back tonight and bought more games - not now though.
