I got my family guy sets last Christmas for 17.99 at Target. I was hoping they would do it again this year, but I havent seen it.

Went today, got 15 bottles, a wallflower plug scent, and a big cranberry candle. Total was 28.00! These are great gifts for teachers, especially this time of year!

The diff is the screen. The neewer ones have a MUCH better screen. Brighter, better pic. Not worth a 40.00 diff, and it is cool that the mgr marked the newer ones for you. That was nice of him

Usually when there is a 1.00 charge, its not an actual charge. its usually just a hold. Maybe your local video store or something. They do that every so ofter (6 mo, year, whatever) to make sure the CC# you give them is still active. But if its still there next week, may be worth pursuing.

Sears is great about rebate reciepts, but....the rebate has to be PM by 12-9-05. That stinks. I was hoping to not have to cut it out yet, but oh well. It was for hubby at least. He wont mind. But I would feel akward giving someone else a gift with the UPC cut off. I guess I would also feel akward asking for a UPC once they opened it!

Same here. Been doing it for over 10 years, why stop now? Plus, with 3 kids, I need the best pries I can get on toys. I m just glad we were not looking for any high-end electronics this year (or low end computers!). This year was pretty much toys and such, thankfully! Although I do wish I'd had the $$ for an HDTV, but we are saving & wont be able to do that till Feb or March.
