  1. One year I made homemade milk bath for the women in the family. It was a BIG hit. I'll have to see if I still have the recipe. We just put it in Mason jars, with a hand made card.
  2. I just ordered a DVD from there, that is a gift for Christmas. It is not avail in-store, only online. It said immediately available, so I ordered. Well, I just got my order conf., with a ship date of 12/12, and delivery on 12/26. I really hope it's here before then, as that would be 2 days after I need it Anyone had any experiences with CC shipping before? Did it arrive sooner than they said?
  3. I got mine in the mail with the winter catalog. Also, I went last night. Apparently, alot of people know about this, because there were almost NO snowglobes left! And the ones they had were nothing I was interested in There is another Disney Store about the same distance in another direction, may head there today.
  4. I bought my artificial tree after Christmas a couple of years ago...It was 149.99, and I got it for $25. It doesnt have lights or anything, but its a great tree. I think its 7' tall. Anyways, they definately have some good tree prices.
  5. Oh, thank you! I have 2 15% coupons, looks llike time to use one!
  6. We have dinner with my family on Christmas Eve. We used to visit the in-laws on teh 25th, but we havent in 2 years now, since we don't speak anymore. SO, Christmas day for us is a Sunrise Service, then a nomal breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, whatever). I usually do the appetizer thing for dinner. Everyone gets to try alot of different things, and you aren't stuck if you don't like it! lol.
  7. Oh how I feel for you guys! My in-laws are bad....but we don't speak anymore. So i don't have to worry about it. Actually, Christmas will be 2 years we have not seen MIL or her new husband.
  8. Showing OOS & not avail for instore pickup.
  9. Only those who voted for the TV are eligable for the TV. The others will get discounts on what they voted for, but not as dramatic of a discount.
  10. While I don't particularly like this practice, it makes sense. Alot of stores do not know what is coming on a truck until it is there. They cant say we will have them on XX day.,, because they may not. But if they hold any they get in until a certain day, that allows a few things to happen: 1. they don't have people camping at thier store every night waiting to see if any came in. 2. They can actually advertise that they will have them, instead of a store here has a few, this store has none kind of thing. 3. It draws attention. I can bet that 90% of the people reading this thread knows EXACTLY what time on Wed WM will sell Wii's.
  11. I love it when they have weeks like this!
  12. I buy Bratz for my kids. But, I am selective when purchasing them, just the same way I am with Barbies. Both have some pretty trashy looking outfits for young kids, but both also have some that are just plain cute. The bottom line is, you decide what is allowed in your house, not your SIL.
  13. I use photobucket to store my pics, and I believe they have a tool that does that. I sue photoshoop tho
  14. Well, I have several diff mail people. One lady is super nice, always delivers by 10am, sweet as can be. Then we have the Funny Farm mail man....ugh, dont get me started on him. Then another lady who could care less. We get other people's mail, and about half of our own. If theree was a way to know who was coming when, I'd love to leave something for the 1st lady.
  15. The decorations alone were amazing, but this is even more amazing, lol. My 2 yo has already undone the bottom half of the tree, lmao.
  16. llol, mine are in the back of the van with a comforter over them
  17. Absolutely gorgeous. I am going to assume you either have no children, or at least no small children, because I know mine would destroy that! lol.
  18. About as much as Marc....
  19. I did notice. And I also noticed that I never got the server busy page after refreshing once. Last year, I had to refresh over & over. Great job Brad & Ross! (With the help of Mrs. Honeybee of course :) )
  20. thanks, I'll see if they have a website. I know there is a Tuesday Morn. about 20 min away.
  21. Good to know. The dollhouse i need by Christmas morning, but the oer accessories I'm sure will be bought all year long, lol. Anyone know what the chances are of this going on sale before Christmas? <3
  22. Thsanks for the advice. So Firemansgal, your DD played with it for a long time huh? I ma just so afraid she will dump it because she is at that age where its hard to get things that arent either too advanced, or too "baby-ish". If that made any sense. Maybe I will go ahead & bite on the FP townhouse...if I can find a deal :)
  23. OK, my 5 year old has asked Santa for a doll house. Except Santa is having a hard time. The one she originally picked out is the Fisher Price Townhouse. That just seems to me like it's made for younger children, i dunno. I want something she can use for a while, and not feel like a baby. Ideally, I want to keep this around $50-75, of course closer to 50 is better :) I looked at the Cinderella castle, and it just seems like nothing for the price. She has also mentioned the Mickey Mouse clubhouse, but again, i dont want this to be something she will outgrow in a couple of months. Help!
  24. not everyone CAN get a credit card.
