There is a way to recalibrate he screen of a leapster. If you look a the back there is an area that you can put a pen. If you place the pen in there when you turn on the leapster you should get a blank screen adn be able to recalibrate it.

I would also suggest you think about returning it even if you don't get a lower price on BF. They may have it on sale in the time between BF and Christmas. With the 45 day time frame you will not be able to return it.

Yeah i have the same but last year close to Christmas i got a coupon for $15 off $100 purchase was able to pick up some stuff for a good deal less than i would have otherwise.

I just found out you can get the ads early. Last year i spent my time viewing all the ads online the wed before thanksgiving at each stores website. That was a pain while trying to get dinner together for the next day.

I was looking at the new model of Pixter. We have a color one now. I saw the new model Pixter at target the otehr day and it was $83.99 I think. This was for the hardware only no cartridge or case. The closest WM here that is open 24 hrs is one zand a half hours away.There are NO WM in the NYC limits they are all in NJ or LI.

Not every WM is open 24/7.

The good generally outweighs the bad. I don't get there as early as some of you guys. I generally get started at 5 am and since i am in NYC i have to travel to either LI or NJ to get to any decent stores so i am not waiting in line for them to open. While waiting in line to pay i generally start talking to people. Most of them are nice.

If you see it now and fear it may be in short supply as the holiday nears get it. You can always return it. TRU hass a very liberal return policy starting 12/26. I have seen them take things as a return with ripped packaging and otehr things they would never normally accept.

when i was young my mom did most of her shopping through the Sears wish book. I remember getting that book and what toys i would want. She used to stash the goods at my grandmother's house. When we got older and clothes were the thing she started going out on BF and every other weekend heading up to Christmas. We would hit a different mall every weekend. We lived ( still do ) in Brooklyn and would hit every mall within a reasonable driving distnace on LI and NJ. Reasonable to my parents meant anything less than 2 hours so we went to a lot of malls. I still do this cause you find different things in different areas and it is fun to see what stores other malls have.
