I tried not to get excited all week for the Super Bowl, but with about a minute left, my heart was beating so fast. I can't believe the Chiefs won. In a way I'm sad I missed all the hoopla building to the game, but just happy they won.
Checking in for the month and might be in the house a lot because of a snowstorm this week. Hope everyone is safe.

An unexpected snowfall has begun here today, but luckily its supposed to be less than an inch. Later this week though we may not be too lucky.
But hey, my team is playing in the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years, so I'll take a little snow.

I rang in the New Year by playing solitaire... alone. But hey, at least I stayed up until midnight. I think 2020 will be a good year, so I can't complain about that. Hope everyone had fun and has a great year.

I haven't really started decorating yet, but have a couple items out. I'll probably get the rest of the stuff out this week. Usually I do it the week after Thanksgiving, so nothing has really changed this year.

Checking in for the month, kind of bummed. I didn't do any Black Friday shopping this year aside from a card site I got to where I bought 5 cards. I was already tight on money, so I didn't expect to get much anyways, but got a curveball a couple days before announcing rent was going up, so I'll have to find more ways to pinch pennies now. I'm not too worried about it, but still was a bit of a bummer.
Oh well, its Christmastime and things will get better. Gotta stay positive. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

Waiting for this one. Not a bad one, but a couple of the items I wanted had mail in rebates, which I don't like. That Bubba Cooler looks kind of cool though.

I guess Frozen II is the hot ticket toy items this year. Not sure if my nieces are into it much, but something to keep an eye out on.

I've never seen a "toilet paper blaster" before, but 15 bucks sounds like a decent price.

I love that they always have sales on digital, and sometimes you can get free credit. I've gotten a few free movies that way. Though I'm a bit cautious because rumor is they might be selling the service, and if they do, who knows what will happen to the digital movies you own. That's also why I like buying physical copies of movies I like.

I hate when ads show stuff then prices like "starting at". Not that I would have planned a trip anyways, but no way I'm heading into a store for a sale not knowing what the prices are. Almost as bad as mail in rebates.

Congrats to the winners. I forgot to enter my favorite contests, but oh well. Maybe next year. I guess I could still go through and do one, but I didn't see a lot I wanted this year anyways. Thanks for running all the contests Brad.

Looks like they got the "Beyond" covered, but not much in the way of "Bed" or "Bath".

I found a couple things, but overall, eh. I think there is good prices on stuff, but most of it is stuff I'm not in the market for. I wonder how cheap TV's would be if all of them weren't Smart TV's or had Roku built in.

The $25 Google Chromecast is about the only thing I see that's a must for me, bit I believe Target's is the same price... the K-cups are not that much of a bargain (only $2 off) so I think I'll pass on those and get them somewhere else...
I was thinking the same on the K-cups, but also saw the B1G1 Free offer as well so, that one seems a lot better.
Overall not a bad ad. I never shop at Staples, but this seemed like a pretty good ad. If I still needed an external hard drive, I'd be really excited to get one of those deals, but I hardly use the 1TB I have now.

I never thanked you for when I got my package which was one of the first batches I assume. I didn't get any extras with it, but I was still beyond excited when it showed up and have been using the stuff ever since.

I still love coming to the site, but I haven't looked at all the smaller ads like I usually do. I saw Music & Arts ad was posted and realized "I'm good". I'm still happy they got posted, but I guess since I don't have the budget I know I won't get anything much. Plus a lot of the stores are nowhere near me or I've never ordered online from them.
I'm glad for the season to be here though, so its the shopping that I'm not getting into the mood for yet. I know I'll still head to Walmart though and I'll have a blast. I think as we draw closer, it will feel a lot more like every other year and I'll get into the mood.

Usually I have no interest in the JCP ad, but I have to admit, I see a couple deals on there. I still hate mail in rebates, but I might bite the bullet for a couple things.

Hoping to find some good deals on movies. I saw a couple but oh well. Hoping to find a good deal on a 4 slice toaster, so we'll see if another store can deliver.
Overall not a bad ad though, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I've been busy the last month, and haven't been online much. I didn't do much for my birthday, but still had a great time. I hope the warm weather this weekend is an indication of whats to come.
