Mine happend on BF but wasn't realated to BF. I had just got done shopping when I got home at around 7:30-8 AM. My dad and I met my dad's friend (and longtime family friend). Anyway, they talked for about an hour. I went inside to set up the DVD/VCR that I bought. Anyway, later that day the friend my dad talked to died of what I think was a heart attack. It was only 4 hours after we talked to him. I felt bad because I kinda brushed him off that morning, and didn't say goodbye to him.
Thanksgiving weekend has never been good to me anyway, 6 years ago, my grandpa died on Thanksgiving, it was my Senior year of H.S. then 3 years ago our close family friend dies on BF. A really sucky weekend, I guess thats why I shop BF to get my mind off of that stuff.

Yeah, I'm not sure what way to go with this, a burner or a recorder. I want to copy old tapes, but it would be cheaper to buy a burner and get attachments.

I wonder if I should buy some care Bears and put them on ebay. I've never sold on ebay, but this may be a great venture to try.

Two years ago (I think) Walmart had a cheap dvd/vcr combo for a doorbuster. I didn't bother going because I figured they would be gone in 5 minutes. I stopped by later that morning and decided to walk through electronics "just in case". Someone put the last one in their cart just as I got there! Now I know it never hurts to check if it's something I really want.
I bought one of those that year. Slyvania brand. The DVD player stopped working after 6 months. I was so mad. I have only been able to use my computer to watch movies since then. It was 79 dollars, but when it came down to it, it was an overpriced VCR.

I think I would buy a digital camera. I really want one, and I see some good BF deals on them. Now to choose which one. I guess I have some time to decide still.

I'm curious too, I'm excited about the Best Buy card.

Well, I'll be 2 for 2 this week, I have this Tuesday off again. I can't believe it. I'll try to make it back again.

Now, if you are a Boston Legal fan too, we need to start comparing the family tree. :)
I haven't seen it, but its one of those shows that I would like to get around to watching. The same happened to Gilmore Girls. I didn't get into that until I saw reruns on the Family channel and I was hooked. Sports Night I got into when they show it on Comedy Central at 2 in the morning.
But I may have to look for Boston Legal now that you suggest it.

Yeah I better get Gilmore Girls soon. Its an addicting show. I too am an adult male that watches it. I have never seen a show like it.

No those are 12 ounce for 99 cents. Its half that size. Imagine a shot glass with a frosty in it. They come usually with kid's meals instead of drinks if you dont want a drink.
-
Not to sound real rude, but the free frosty coupons are a rip. They are really small and not really worth it. Honestly, I laugh at people when they come in and use them. They get mad because they think its a real big frosty, but its only 6 ounce.

NO!
No Fast Food BF deals. I work at Wendy's (inside a truck stop, we are open 24 hours). I get off work at 6:00 AM. If they had BF deals, I wouldn't be able to leave on time and miss all the BF deals.

I have a whopping $5 in BB bucks! LOL. Im going to redeem to get a cd for my son. If I can get 2 more, I won't have to pay any cash! LOL
I think you can only redeem 3 dollars for a CD. I think thats one of the restrictions.
It doesn't matter to me, I only have a whopping $1 in Best Buy Bucks. I work at Wendy's so what do you expect.

Somehow I have this Tuesday off, so I'll be able to join-in this week, after that, I'll have to wait and see. Good time I must say.

Besides Best Buy and Circuit City, I for some reason am anticipating Nebraska Furniture Mart. It's over 125 miles from my home and I have no intention of going there, but they always have great deals.
-
I have a question about buying online. Can you just place the items you want in your online cart early, then wait till the doorbuster times and then checkout? I mean paying the doorbuster price. That way you are ensured to get them instead of being out of stock.

UNO ATTACK 9.99 WOW!
I've been waiting for that price for over 3 years. Guess, I'll go now.
I also am interested in the DVD recorder/VCR combo.
-
Cool, I see that those DVD could be hot sellers. I just hope they aren't the ones that are already in the 5.50 bin.
-
I like them because even though it may seem like a thoughtless gift, you can buy what you want or need, so essentialy they are still buying the gift for you, you just get to pick it out.
-
I think I want to add music equipment to my list too, but I doubt anything I want will be available on BF.
I also want a new(er) computer, but will wait until tax time for that.

The SNL Trival Pursuit has been in the clearance aisle on my Wal-Mart off and on for months. I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy it (I think its 20 bucks). If its like 10 or so on BF, I'll get it.
-
I'm not sure yet. I'll find out anywhere between 2-3 days up to a week before BF. Unless I ask off, but I want to see what the deals are first. I work overnight so if there isn't anything worth getting, I will work and get paid time and a half.
Do you only buy one or two?
