The monthly fee for TiVo is $12.95 per month, or you can purchase LIFETIME for $299. If you purchase Lifetime for $299, you don't have the monthly fee, and it is on THAT particular unit for lifetime. (Ex: if you were to sell your TiVo to someone else, that lifetime membership would be theirs now.) It follows the unit.

Every time I see the title of this thread pop up, I keep thinking it's one where I can EXCHANGE MY FAMILY for another one.

These were the rules at Kmart too when I worked there fresh out of high school (some 18 or so years ago LOL) We were told ahead of time if we missed work on Black Friday, don't even bother coming back.

I still don't have TV (hurricane screwed up the satellite) and won't have until the 18th, so I haven't seen any of the commercials yet. I've slowly worked my way through most of the seasons of Friends, now working on the seasons of Sex and the City (I'm up to season 4)

I would love to do one of these. I make treats every year, not necessarily cookies, but I love to make chocolate and white covered pretzels and covered oreos. Also chocolate covered peanut butter crackers (peanut butter between two Ritz crackers dipped in chocolate). Peanut butter cups, and peanut brittle (hmmm, have to locate that recipe, it's a must do this year). Looks like I'm gonna be busy this year.... LOL

This is my first Christmas at this job, so I'm not sure what I'll do, but in years past I had an awesome work relationship/friendship with my GM. At our Christmas party every year I would give him a huge bottle of Scotch.

Kim's recipe for fudge: Ingredients: 1 telephone (land line or cell phone) (I prefer cell with mobile to mobile minutes) 1 telehone number (or speed dial) Directions: Dial sister's phone number, and request a batch or two of brother-in-law's super duper yummy fudge. Wait a few days and check the mail. Consume. he makes the absolute best fudge I've ever had, (and I don't even really like rich chocolately things too much).. Not sure what all he puts in it, but I know it has chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, condensed milk (maybe?) and something else. I just know it's really good.

6 1/2 ft multicolored pre lit tree, with a couple of strands of blinking lights (multicolored also). I dont even care if there are any ornaments on my tree. I just like the lights. I used to just curl up on the couch, with just the tree lights on.

I just picked up the Under the Sea full size set.

My neighbor used to put up halloween icicle lights, and everyone thought she had Christmas lights up. They were a deep purple, I'm guessing to look black?

Thanks for the info. Are they in the teal PL boxes?? I'm a cns for PL and I've seen some of the retired holiday items at Dollar Stores before. Someone told me that once they retire an item, they then offer discontinued items to consultants as "business boosters" for fairly decent prices, then what product they still can't move they'll sell to stores like Dollar Stores or now I'm guessing Big Lots too. I don't think I sold PL when they had the Auraglow candles mentioned. I'm gonna have to check this out and pick some up.

I have one and I love it!! I make smoothies, milkshakes, daquaries, and frozen margaritas with no problem at all. I dont turn it on and leave it on to do the mixing, but I use the "pulse" option. I've had it for over a year now and havent had any problem with it overheating or shutting off. I'll keep that in mind though, and watch for any problems.
