Not sure if this is the right forum or not so if it is wrong, feel free to move. TIA I was at Wal-Mart and saw it on sale for $41 normally $59.99. My 3 year old and 5 year old has been asking for it since last year. Just couldn't see spending $59.99 on one. For those that have one, do the kids enjoy it? Should I go for it and get it for that price? TIA!!

My daughter is short and we bought her a 16'. We had her sit on it to make sure she would fit and she fits perfectly with room to grow for a year or two. My son is also 5 and we bought him a 20'. He also fits on it and is on the smaller size. Maybe if your ever out and there are bikes around, have them sit on it to be sure.

I haven't put my outside stuff out yet but hubby was mad that I made him put the lights on the tree yesterday and put up the garland around the windows. LOL I am hoping to put my putside stuff out this weekend.

I write my own. I just buy paper from Office Depot for Factory Card Outlet and write mine the night before. That way I can personalize it to what the kids wrote to Santa the night before. It is not only cheaper but that way I know my kids will get there letter.

Do you actually quit shopping when your "list" is finished?

I thought I was done but everytime I go somewhere, I see something on sale or clearance and there goes my budget. I had planned on 5 gifts a piece for the kids plus there Santa and now they are up to 11 gifts a pice. UUGGHH!! I just can't help myself when it comes to a GREAT deal. -
I did go out and buy mine this weekend. I got a 6' Santa and Snowman for $15 a piece. Can't wait to put them up.

I do all the shopping so I can get what I want the kids to have and what they want. DH and I have a very different point of view of what the kids should and shoulnd't have.( I do of course run some of the bigger and more expensive items with him though as we don't want it to be an arguement) If he were shopping, he probably wouldn't have over spent like I did this year though. LOL

Not sure. Big Lots has a tree, santa, and reindeer all in one for $39.99. I have to buy all new lights for the house and shrubs as we lost them in the move so I am trying to get away cheap this year. LOL I already have 2 white reindeer. I am also planning on getting a sleigh from Farm and Fleet for them to pull and also some light up presents ($12.99 from Big Lots) to put in the sleigh. Really wish I could get a Disney one as our tree is Disney but just can't afford it.

TBA and Gporter34...Thanks, maybe that is it. I think I will go ahead and buy one then.

WOOHOO!! Thanks SOOOOOOOOOO much Pam. Now I am hungry. LOL

I really want one but every time I drive past someone's house who has one, they are always deflated. For those of you that have them, do you find you have the same problem and if so what is the cause? TIA

I will also be missing it. Pregnant with someone else's baby (surrogate) and don't feel it is safe to be out there.
-
AWESOME...THANKS!! Anyone have a chocolate one as well? Hubby will LOVE the PB one though.
-
Anyone have any traditional recipes that they use every year? I am looking for a good fudge one if anyone has one? I have an apple one. It isn't really Christmas related but it is delicious if anyone is interested? I don't like apples but this is GOOOOOOOOD!!

My local WM said that layaway is a mad house on BF because people do this exact thing. I would definetly call and ask. Good Luck!!

Not sure if you know but it's not only Target.com but also in there stores. I was in there the other day.

I am having HUGE withdrawals. Mainly because I am not sure I can go this year. I am pregnant with someone else's baby. (I am a surrogate) I will be 20 weeks and not sure I should put myself in that position because it is someone else's baby. If it were my own it would be a different story. If I could get hubby up to go with me, I would still go but them I have to find a sitter. UUGGHH!! Any ideas?

We also go to Sears. Have been since my oldest was born and he is 8. We are going in 2 weeks for pictures. Ours is also booked well into November. We take the Christmas card pics with the digital as well. That way it looks more real. I then take them to Walgreens who has a special for 20 cards for $9.99. I send those out to immediate family and close friends. I send regualr cards out to the rest with a wallet size of what we get from Sears.
