So far I have... meat tray with bread shrimp with sauce cookies meatballs 7 layer dip fruit dip with fruit (found a GREAT recipe with fluff and strawberry cream cheese) deviled eggs

Thanks all. I guess it wouldn't be as sad if it were mutually agreed on by all that we aren't getting together. There was a huge blowout and now no-one is talking. To make things worse hubby is leaving, I am pregnant (surrogate) and have 3 kids and will be on my own. I know other military wifes do it, but I am a baby, LOL.

Thanks vsa3janes...we will definetly be starting a new tradition. We already do the cookies for Santa. Santa is bringing a pool table with pong pong conversion top so I know we will have a TON of fun after all the gifts are open. Thanks for the idea of the taco dip. Well, it looks like it is only going to be my husband and kids for Christmas this year. Very sad and haven't cried like this in years. I want everything to just be non-stressed and laid back. I am going to get a meat tray and some bread to let the kids make sandwhiches. I will also probably do meatballs in the crockpot. Any other easy/kid friendly but adults like too ideas? Anyone have a good recipe for meatball sauce? (my mom had a GREAT one that involved grape jelly but with the fight were in, I am not about to email her to ask for it) THANKS!!! I won't let this Christmas get me down as hubby leaves for Iraq 2 weeks after and want to be able to enjoy him being here now.

Since I bought hubby his psp AND gps I am going to buy myself the Nintendo DS. I am going to wrap it and put it under the tree from him, LOL. Give me some good game ideas for it. I like Mario games and such but not sure what to buy. Also, can I get it anywhere cheaper than $129? THANKS!!

I use to work for Wal-Mart. You will probably have to wait for the card to come in mail. I know it won't be of any use now but if you had done it in the store, you would have gotten a print out and could have used that.

Mine was cancelled as well. They said it was because of my credit card but I know the number and everything was right because I put in in twice. I then put another credit card number in and it went through. Then I get an email saying it was under review. UUGGHH

Stupid question...I bought advance games for the SP. Does this one (the one in the coupon) use the same games? My daughter wants one but I can't see spending $50 (used SP) on her at the age of 5. I will however get this one if the games are the same. THANKS!!

He didn't use to but now that they are getting older and more sneaky, he will starting this year. I am going to buy wrapping paper with Santa on it (different than what we wrapped there gifts in)so they know it is from Santa.
