Off on Turkey day, and on BF day---I don't have to go in until 4:00 p.m. so that leaves me literally the WHOLE morning to get my BF shopping done, get home and take a lil' nappy and off to work I go:D ! LOL!!

Oh where do I begin....I just finished picking up a layaway earlier today. Plus, I have been buying on the 'net, we have a spare bedroom that we never use, so storing things until the "big day" is the way to go. That way you have it in one place, and NO WORRIES!!

Usually ABC has the Peanuts....they sometime start right at Thanksgiving.

Wouldn't be Thanksgiving if we didn't have the parade on, looking through the BF ads, and planning our strategy for the next morning!!! :)

Not really a theme kinda person...we enjoy just getting nice things and setting them around the house, not going for any type of theme or design, just what makes us happy!

My family to be healthy and happy for the rest of this year and the many years to come. This Christmas will be more happy for my mom than the past 3-4 years. I am soooooooo happy about that. I think that this year will be the best in quite sometime for all of us. I am truly looking forward to it!

I started to, but then discovered that I need to see the product in order to determine if it was going to work or not and be the right kind of toy.

I am considering making my own this year and seeing how that goes.

Whatever I like, and that I can find coordinating bows and ribbon for. I usually go for for that kind of style.

Went to KMart today. They have trees set up and decorated. Their Halloween however was all scattered all over the place.

My 2 nephews don't make a list, but I have to to keep track of what I buy who for. Its a challenge sometimes to keep track!! LOL!! :)

Started mine about 3 weeks ago, just got back with some Christmas items as a matter of fact!! :)

IMHO I don't mind the stores getting their Christmas stock out early reason being, if it is something nice that I think that we will enjoy, I would rather buy it now, save it for 2 months and enjoy it---I don't have to go out and buy it later and I can beat the crowds to it.

Never done the shopping on Turkey day...but there is always a first....if there is a absolute great buy, then yes I will venture out!

Ok, my feelings (which I have never changed regarding rebates)....it doesn't take the store 8-10 (or more or less) to take the money from you be it check, cash, credit card, etc. so why do we customers have to wait for them to process our rebate???!?!!? They should do strictly INSTANT rebates during the holiday shopping season. It, in my opinion, would certainly draw more customers into the stores therefore resulting in higher sales. I am sooooooo against rebates! I just don't shop at a store that makes me send in something to get my money back....just my $0.02 worth!

Oh I think that they will finalize in early to mid October so that the warehouses can begin stocking the items in prep of getting them to the stores...but just my $0.02 worth.

With all the craziness and only 20 or so per store, wonder if WalMart will do another laptop this year as they did last year. I think a whole lot of that was PR....what does everyone else think??

I so love this time of the year...seems like everyone is preparing their "strategy"!!!! :)
