  1. Me too! The weekly one is usually on the TRU website www.toysrusinc.com around midnight so I'm waiting another twenty minutes before going to bed to check. :)-Just checked, for anyone that's interested it's up now. :)
  2. I thought that was classic. They even got the date in there! It would be hilarious if the other sites just copy and paste the list and actually advertise for this site on theirs. :)
  3. The kitchen stuff doesn't have free shipping b/c it's only available online. I skipped the LT deal online too b/c I didn't want to pay shipping. My store was really picked over too, although I may try a different one tomorrow. My order with the 20% was placed yesterday and shipped today. :) Even better-and I almost hate to admit it-I got in on the deal when they "accidentally" were allowing it before. So I got my son an L-Max for his birthday (in March), 2 games for it, the Letter Factory game, and a couple of baby toys for the little one for 33% off plus the 20% off. Now THAT was a sweet deal! :) That was back at the end of September, or beginning of October when they had buy 2, get 1 on Leap Frog.
  4. I have one of those! He was 4 months about a week ago. I also have a 3.5 year old though. I've already asked my mom to watch them. It means I have to go alone, instead of with her, but DH is working, and I think she'd rather sleep in anyway.
  5. I love to receive gift cards. They are always on my list. Of course when I do get them, I spend half of what they are worth on my kids, but I still get to shop so I'm happy (my kids are 3 years old and 4 months old, I'm sure I'll get over this habit when they get older and start asking for things!). I don't like to give them though, because I like to get deals on what I give so I can spend less and get a nicer gift. My SIL doesn't need to know I only spent about $4 on the Seasons 1 and 2 of Gilmore Girls (price matched Target at Circuit City and used 3 GCs that I'd gotten free as promotions).
  6. I'll be going alone this year. I was hoping SIL would be able to go, but apparently my brother has decided they're not even coming here that weekend (wonder if I could talk her into coming by herself? Probably not). My husband and my dad have to work. My mom will be home watching my kids (b/c she doesn't want to get up that early). I am normally NOT a morning person, but that day I am up and out. It's okay to be alone, as long as you don't need to be in two places at once.
  7. I usually go with my mom, but my husband and my dad have to work that day, so my mom will probably be watching my kids...which means I'll be alone. Unless my brother and my new SIL show up for Thanksgiving. I might be able to drag my SIL with me. Maybe. But alone is fine. It's faster that way.
  8. I'm with you both. I boycott Walmart every day. Of course my husband and my mom shop there, so my boycott doesn't do much, but I absolutely will not show up there on BF. No sale price is worth it.
  9. That is SO COOL how the store is automatically linked when I type the name in. WOW! ("WOW" and "So cool" are two of my 3 year old's favorite phrases-it appears I'm going to be talking about him a lot).
  10. I've already bought a bunch of stuff for my boys. With the Toys R Us/Amazon deals last week, they are getting a lot of Leap Frog for Christmas. :) And I'm watching every week. I don't think most of what I want will be a BF deal anyway, and if it is, I can always return the original. My favorite deal so far: I had $30 in Circuit City gift cards I'd gotten for free (well, $10 was free, the other $20 I got for a dollar when I joined something then quit) this year. I took them in and had them price match the Gilmore Girls seasons 1 and 2. So I got 10% off of the $18.88 (which was $15.xx). I used the gift cards and got my SIL an awesome gift for less than $5 out of pocket! :)
  11. My older son (he's 3 1/2). Like the PP, he's old enough to really enjoy it this year (last year he just liked opening the paper, didn't care what was inside). And also my younger son. He won't remember a thing, but it's his first Christmas. And my husband. I guess.
  12. I didn't see that Regis episode, but that Shake N Go Speedway is going to be my 3 1/2 year old's "Santa" gift. He hasn't learned to ask for anything yet (next year I'm sure), probably because his mom buys him everything before he has to ask. I'm glad to see it's on the list, because that means it will be on sale at some time or another! As far as the handheld V-Tech thing. We have the version that's not handheld and it's cool enough (for a 3 year old), but he's getting the Leap Frog L-Max for his birthday. The Leapster and L-Max seem to be more popular. But that's just what I've seen.
  13. Absolutely not. I have this little change holder thingy, a little bigger than the size of a credit card that zips closed. I can put a couple of credit cards, my ID, and some cash in there and it fits in my pocket-my front pocket. :)
  14. Mine used to be The Disney Store until they stopped doing the beanie thing. I always manage to get a snowglobe or two from JC Penney, but it's not usually the first store I hit. This year I guess it will depend on the deals and what I still need by then....guess I didn't really answer the question, did I?

    BF Forum is Open!

I can't believe it's October, but I'm SO excited for Black Friday this year I can't wait. :) I've just come over from Babycenter. Somehow I missed this board last year, but I'm glad I found it now!
