    too soon?

I think it's awesome. I just came over to see when the BF forum would be open, and here it is. Woo Hoo. Now to start list-making!
  3. Just in case you didn't know, though, the Disney Stores are owned by The Children's Place and the online store is still owned by Disney. That's why they sometimes don't have the same things. Clothes especially are often different. The Christmas PJs in store are different from the ones online (and in the catalog) for example. Usually it is the clothes that are different. Just FYI in case there is something someone wants online and thinks they can get at the store and then can't. :)
  4. I just got back and spent about 2 hours there with my 18 month old. He was surprisingly good. My 4 year old is getting so many books for Christmas. I also got books for my two nieces and two nephews and even the 18 month old. And myself. I spent $47 after the coupon. I got a Leapster game (the Animal Genius) one for $10 and they also had the I Spy one there. I was looking for Magic Treehouse and they only had a couple of them (the regular ones, not the Merlin ones or the reference ones-looking for a 6 year old), but I still got a ton of stuff. When I checked out they gave me a $5 off of $25 coupon to come back. Which I will probably do tomorrow. Mine (Kennesaw, GA) is having another small sale in January and then another big one in May. The place was awesome. :) Thanks for reminding me to check!
  5. I know some of you were looking for that baseball game. KBToys (or etoys they're the same) has it for $7.50 with free shipping. http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.html/PID/4484439/ctid/17/INstock/Y/D/ The expansion pack is $2.
  6. You have to live in one of these areas for it to even be an option: Customers of select stores in Texas, NW Arkansas, the Mississippi Gulf Coast or Northern California can use our Free Shipping... But thanks for the idea!
  7. I'm not sure how long this is for. Might be over Dec. 1st, but as of 12:25am EST on Dec. 2nd, it's still $30. Just can't decide if I want to pay the $7 shipping. I got my kids the Leapster TV, and Little Leaps. This would be for the grandparents' house. Guess I'd better decide soon before the rest of you get them. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5286649
  8. I'm with you guys about being disappointed about which ads are out. Seems awfully late to me. I don't care about the ones out now. Even Sears isn't a big deal. Like you all, I'm waiting for Target, BB, and CC. I don't even know where there is a Kmart around here.
  9. I usually end up going alone now. I used to go with my mom but she doesn't seem to want to get up early anymore. Last year she watched my kids. This year my hubby will be watching the kids, so I don't know if I'll manage to drag her out of bed or not. We get a lot of what we're getting before BF, so I just go for the fun. :)
  10. Wish I'd seen this earlier. This is exactly the RAM I need. Oh well.
  11. We didn't get to Target until late last night. Around 7:30pm and there were plenty of cameras left. I'm assuming you're talking about the $89.99 ones? We almost got one for my grandmother, but decided she'd want optical zoom. :)
  12. I'm in FL and we don't have a $10 off coupon either. Oh well.
  13. I think those codes are one time use only. But you can play the game on the website and get one or the other. Use a different email address and you'll get another code-often the other one. And it's 10% off of $100 not $10 (which makes a difference if you're spending more than $100). :) Did all my Old Navy shopping last night.
  14. I just went to check out a couple of things and the entire toy store is out of stock. It's not just one or two things. It's not even just things on the BF list. The ENTIRE toy store is saying it's out of stock/we'll email you when the items are available. This isn't just me is it? NEVERMIND I just had to refresh my browser. Sorry. :)
  15. I got all my stuff this morning except I just missed out on the DVD Burner drive for $19.99 AR. I am SO mad about that (it's my own fault). I had it in my cart, but when I went to check out it wasn't there anymore. Guess I spent too much time "looking around". I tried to get the 50 DVD+R spindle and it just said to add to my shopping list (like the notebook computer does). Didn't make sense b/c that's supposed to be an online deal. Did get a USB drive for SIL, the $76.99AR Portable DVD, the Cranium Primo game for $7.99AR (in store is $19.99AR, so that was COOL), and a couple of make-it-yourself photo books B1G1. Plus I had a 10% off code, so I got even more off (makes me even MADDER about the DVD drive). Also got my brother a couple of iPod accessories. 10% off when you buy 2 or more, plus my extra 10%. Didn't do too bad. I did the rebate thing online for 3 of the rebates, but one of the ones for the USB drive it couldn't find so I had to print that one out. Now I'm off to get my newspaper. :)
  16. I was just excited to see the word "Target". It's my favorite store. I'll be going there eventually on BF just because I have to go to Target on BF. Don't see anything I have to be there early for...though I would like a few of the movies. Looking forward to tomorrow's exclusive! :) You guys area awesome!
  17. I'm in the Tampa area (Clearwater) originally from the panhandle.

    We're on CNN.com!

    Very Very Cool! Congratulations!
  19. I am also on the mailing list and didn't get anything. I'll get the BB in the Sunday paper tomorrow, but I don't think the joy card will be with that one. I wonder how they decide who to send that stuff too. I certainly spend enough money there and they have to know we're going to tell each other. :)
  20. Another thing to note: the Winnie the Pooh you get for $6.99 if you spend $50 does NOT have free shipping. I put a bunch of stuff in my cart just to see what shipping would be (I had free shipping on everything but the Pooh in my cart) and it was over $20! Kinda defeats the purpose of spending the $50 to get it free.
  21. The sheets are up to $18 each, or I think a pose (1 8x10, 2 5x7, 8 wallets) is $45 for the first one and $40 for the second. They are fun, but I personally have had some problems with them. I've had to do retakes a couple of times and sometimes the customer service wasn't great. But maybe that's just here. I still go there occassionally when I have a coupon for free sitting and free 8x10, but I usually prefer to use Sears or Penneys. You do get your portraits back in about an hour depending on how busy they are-but I'm not sure if the photo cards would come back that fast. Those might have to be special ordered. I'm pretty sure I saw a coupon for photo cards there in a magazine recently. Or maybe I got it in the mail. In any case, if you decide to go there, look for a coupon. Also, their sitting fee is $9.99 for one person, $19.99 for two or more (I think) unless you have a coupon for free sitting. Hope that helps!
  22. My son is 3.5 and I got him the L-Max, BUT I'm giving it to him on his birthday in March. He got the V-Smile last year for Christmas and only played with it occassionally. It was somewhat confusing for him without help (wanted Simba to get the red flowers-he figured he had to push the RED button to do that, but that's not how it works). Anyway, he's old enough now to want to play with it, but my brother's dog ate the cord that's connected to the system. I guess we're getting a new V-Smile. I'm not sure exactly what the deal with the V-Smile pocket is, but the manufacturer's age is 5 for that, even though the regular one is 3. I figured I was safer with the L-Max.
  23. Just so you know, I saw a lot of these (probably most of them, but I'm not positive because I wasn't looking for specific ones) at Sams Club for $15.xx. I can't remember the exact price. Maybe $15.88. I'm almost positive Gilmore Girls was NOT there (got Seasons 1 & 2 for SIL PMed at Circuit City when Target had the sale), but I saw Friends, ER, Full House, a bunch of others, but I'm not positive what. If you have a Sam's Club membership you might want to check them out. :)
  24. Okay, I think Ace Hardware would be stretching it a little bit for me...but almost any ad would do. I'm mostly waiting for TRU and Target (those seem to be a refrain around here), although I'm anxious to see Circuit City too so I'm happy to hear it might be coming soon. I agree we were spoiled getting Wal-Mart and Radio Shack so close. Plus the end of the month is a week from today. Come on ads!
