  1. My daughter is 4. She told me she wanted for Christmas- Doodle bear, polly pocket stuff, clothes, and shoes! But this is coming from the same kid that yelled at me for not having her own credit card. Yeah, not kidding. She's 4 going on 14. I'm dreading the teenage years. Usually I just buy all her gifts, and put whatevers small and will fit, into the stocking. There's always a few dvd's in there. This year she's getting lip gloss (I had no idea this was such a hot stocking item for everyone else too!), small avon hand lotion, dvd's, a few card games (go fish, old maid), a couple of pens with fuzzy stuff on top...and whatever else I can find that I've hidden away and forgotten about. Oh ya, and maybe a $5.00 gift card to wal-mart so she can have her own "credit card".
  2. Sounds like a great day! My day kind of went the same. Feels great doesn't it!!! I'm not an amature, (this was my first BB BF though!) but if it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't have gotten to my store early enough. I originally planned on 3am, after reading decided 12am, then at 8:30pm changed mind to 10pm! It's wonderful to be able to tell everyone that your day pretty much went a smoothly as it did!
  3. I'm glad to see there was another BB using the PSA. We had it, I used it and it was FABULOUS!!!! I posted my story already on another thread, but it WAS WONDERFUL!!!! But not everyone in front of me used the PSA either, which I thought was odd. It saved us a TON of time! I could not be more happy about it!

  5. UGH!!!! I just ordered all my old navy stuff and could NOT find a coupon anywhere!
  6. Thanks to the nice people in front of me at BB for holding my spot while I threw my blankets and stuff into the car. Thanks to my cousin for braving the cold and crowd at BB this morning. Thanks to TRU for opening the doors 30 min early. Thanks to Phil (I think it was) my fabulous personal sales assistant at BB!!!Thanks to BB for the free Geek Squad t-shirts they threw at us. Thanks to the TRU lady who did my price adjustment for my coupon at the register, rather than making me go to the CS desk. Thanks to Old Navy for having their stuff on sale online, because I actually forgot to go by there this morning. Thanks to my grandmother who has agreed to go to Gordmans with me tomorrow! Better get to bed!
  7. Got to BB at 10 pm last night. Hit them, TRU, and Walgreens. Home by 7:30
  8. That reminds me, they also threw out a TON of Geek Squad shirts, and passed out free coffee and donuts from Krispy Kreme.
  9. PS- It was only 18-20 degrees out last night! Of course the coldest night we've had so far. I'm in Springfield Missouri, btw.
  10. Ok, If it weren't for everyone on here, I wouldn't have gotten what I wanted because I would have showed up at BB way too late. Cousin and I get there at 10:00 pm. We are 60th and 61st in line! Long story short, we got the vouchers for the emachines we were after, and the Kodak digicamara. The best part... They come back out after handing out vouchers, and say they are going to have Personal Shopping Assistants for those who want them for the first 60 or so people. It starts getting a little crazy at this point, but we managed to get a PSA, and I literally think we were the LAST ones to get one. We told him what all we wanted, and he made out an invoice/reciept type thing. 4:40 our PSA comes out and says he has everything we wanted loaded in a cart. 4:45, he comes back and gets the 6 people he was helping (along with all the other PSA's grabbing their people), and we get an escort in to the building 15 min early, past everyone that had either butted, or didn't take advantage of the PSA!!! We get in a very short line in the customer service area (I think they had everyone spread out at different registers all over the store). 5:00 we watch everyone pour in. 5:15 I am in my car on the way to TRU!!!! TRU was supposed to open at 6:00, I got there at 5:20, they let us in at 5:25!! Get everything I need there, head to Walgreens, only because I was done shopping and didn't want to go home yet. Went into a 24 hour Walgreens at 6:30 (no one there) and we could go ahead and get whatever we wanted, but couldn't check out until 7:00. Shopped until 6:55, checked out a 7:05, and was on my way home!!! YEAH! Even though I just lurked most of the time, if it weren't for you all, I seriously would have been way to late for the BB stuff. I heard the people who were first got there at 4:00 pm Thanksgiving Day! WHOA! Anyway, thanks for all the help and advice on here!
  11. mjfrog88- Do you guys have a CC nearby or anything? Our CC is next door to the BB and I just can't imagine them handing CC all the business if there is one in the area.
  12. Oh no...I'm in Southwest Missouri, and often have products, and such, test marketed here. I'm going to be so disappointed tomorrow if Springfield is included! It was going to be my first BF at BB!
