Thanks all. I ordered one in green in the 16 gig. When I called last night the cs rep did not offer that. He had the 8gb in pink,blue and purple. I was surprised that he told me these were hard to find due to the fact the "they are much better than the new Nano". I feel guilty I bought if for me with some of my Christmas bonus My boss is a very generous man and LOVES Christmas

I have looked high and low for this one. I know they stopped making them and now make the tiny nanos. This needs to be this specific one and in green . I tried Apple, MacMall and local stores. I do not want to buy one on Ebay . I guess when Apple made the new Nanos the stores are required to send back that generation they are currently selling..according to a local electronics store. Btw the CS guy at Apple told me these are so hard to find because they are so much better than the new nanos...they have a camera, radio, etc. Why is it every year there is always one impossible to find present,lol?

According to my DS microsoft recently has tried to put the "kaibosh" on them and he said they are very difficult to hook up and they are now quite scare.

OK not to be the village idiot here..but does this bundle include super mario bros? Is this a really good deal? We have a Wii but it is old and I wanted both Mario and the new Epic Disney games. I ordered it before it sells out but can I return if necessary?

How about one of those desktop calendars with the pic of the day....with his favorite team etc? I have a word of the day calendar and I also have a redneck calendar of the day..it makes me smile at work...which is always a good thing:yup:

call that butterball line, they are open 24/7 and they have answers for everything turkey. lol. They were interviewing them on the radio yesterday. Apple I believe does not go on sale per se. You can find a deal that may include a gift card etc. I have had good luck with the refurb from Apple.com and from MacMall as well.

My friend who is Jewish and her DH is Catholic has compromised that last several years. Knowing that her kids were grown she did not need to do it all anymore for the holiday season. Now she takes out the Menorah and wraps the bottom with garland and hangs a few ornaments on it. Her mother came over and nearly had a heart attack:D My friend feels hey I will probably end up in Hell but at least I will be with friends. She calls this her Menorah Tree

Something they may not buy for themselves...a spa treatment, mani/pedi gc, netflix, wine of the month club. How about handprints in plaster of your kids for them or something from the kids that they made. Good Luck. I paid .48 a lb here at Stop and Shop for a Shady Brook Farms bird. Now to find someone to give it to. The boys are at the g/f's houses and I am working. Now who in my circle of people wants a FREE 16 lb turkey, lol

DS23 admired his g/f Dads watch and decided he would like to have one like it/ Of course he did not know anything about it. He called the Dad and he told him it is a Rolex. I told DS..not to hold his breath waiting for a Rolex from me, lol. I would love to find a fake Rolex for him but cannot seem to find them anywhere. How about Netflix sub? Thats what we did last year and they loved it!!!

We gave one to the Boss last year at work. She loved it as she is very involved in her church and they have pot luck meals all the time. She has 5 kids and a DH and so she uses it frequently at home to make the entree, and 2 sides or a dessert (sp)

I will be doing all online BF again this year. I did it last year and it worked out great. I got to stay warm and cozy (laptop and me under my blankie ). What I spent extra on I saved in gas, time and aggravation, lol. I do have a Wii on layaway the the "Kmarto" near me and have picked up a few things along the way. I am thinking someone should forward this to BB cs and they may be shocked to see how many people are not fans!

We always do Chinese food and go to the movies. Not very traditional I know but it is what we do. This year I am working and the boys are both going to g/f's families for a real T-day meal We will do our Chinese and movie day sometime soon after T-day though.
