  1. no it's not, but that is automatically put in there by Dell, so i don't think there's going to be any problem. any other interesting fillers? i'm ready to hit the button here.
  2. how about this ZIO Dazzle Hi-Speed 10-in-1 USB Digital Media Reader/Writer for $22.49 if you haven't had one already.
  3. price is down again a little bit. it's $187.99 now. boy am i tempted. how is it brad? do you like it?
  4. this is a really good deal! i remember paying ~$30 for a similar package but only for 200ft this was 4 years ago though.
  5. i voted for a, but c is just as fine.

*clicking on Lucky's little red flag* j/k :)
  8. click on 'user cp' on the top left, and then follow the 'edit profile' link on the left side bar.
  9. ok ok.. i was blind alright!
  10. it's good to note that Newegg has Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 - OEM version for $131.00 with free shipping. you have to purchase 'hardware' with it though (the $1 mouse that they offered around BF was handy). Windows XP MCE is really just regular Windows XP Professional with additional Media Center module for Media Center purposes (one of the uses is a TIVO type of thing, if you will). you don't have to use the MC capabilities if you don't want to and just need the Windows XP operating system. Edit: I just saw that you specifically mentioned that you don't want OEM, is there any particular reason?
  11. i was pretty sure i checked all over the page for it. well, to my defense, it was late at night (or early in the morning, depend on how you look at it) and i have been working probably around 12 hours total yesterday. thanks.
  12. ok, i just thought about this. there is a link to the forum from the main site http://www.gottadeal.com, but not the other way around. there is no direct link from this forum to the main site. you are probably going to have to 'hack' vbulletin or something like that, but it's a pretty nice little feature to have.
  13. that's not a good news. i was just going to post my good experience with Staples Easy Rebates. but then again i didn't get any kind of error message when i submitted my rebates this morning. as a matter of fact, the website is working fine for me right now. when was it that you said the website crashed?
  14. if you're just a basic user, get one of the 8 devices universal remote control and you can reduce your remote control to only one. they're usually free or some $5 after rebate at OfficeMax. BF is over, but they're usually on sale at OM about once every month or so.

    Count Down!!!

weather.com says it feels like 24 F outside. i'm starting to think of not going out at all
  16. Nov 26 Friday Rain and snow showers. Highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low 30s. this doesn't look good
  17. Walmart, OfficeMax and BestBuy. they're next to each other here (well Walmart you have to drive but it's just across the intersection). Walmart usually opens an hour earlier than the others so if i just go quickly grab one or two things i can still get somewhat decent position in the line for OfficeMax or BestBuy (which one first depends on what they offered and what i wanted to get at that time). this year it looks like OfficeMax will be my main target, and i'm skipping Walmart so i might go somewhere else afterwards. Sears and Radioshack are also in the same mall just a couple of hundred feet down the road, so that might be my next destination.
  18. if i am buying a HD right now i would buy a Seagate, mostly because of it's 5 years warranty.
