We put ours up Thanksgiving weekend and take it down New Years Day.

My kids are older now, but I heard this from a friend and wish I would have heard it earlier! Santa spends the same amount of money, or Christmas magic, on every kid in the world. Those kids who get really expensive presents, had mom or dad give Santa "extra" money for them to spend. Children who are in families who may not get presents at all - Santa used their portion on things like food and clothing - things they needed more than toys. That's why we donate presents to them.

How long does this go?

Walmart, Target, Menards and Kohls. This is my first year with Kohl's as the town I go shopping in just opened one up this summer.

Every Kindle I've bought my kids I've gotten them on a sale Amazon had. They will have a day, or maybe a few hours where they drop the price nicely, you just have to watch for it. My son has the Kindle Fire HDX and loves it.

I wish there would be a more consistent start time. I live in a small town and have to drive an hour to any large retailer. I've had years I've wanted something at a store opening at 6pm Thursday and another at 6am Friday. Am I supposed to sleep in my car?? There aren't enough places open overnight where I shop to keep me busy (not to mention warm and safe)!

I make my kids write up a list. I usually get 1/2 from the list and then 1/2 surprise items that I think they would like and/or need. As for extended family, I start a private facebook group every year where we draw names and then post our wishlists. Works out great.

I was up early this morning and got the Wii U bundle for $249 and the Mario Maker game with a $15 target card. Walmart's site went funny for me, so I gave up, but just now was able to get the soda stream I've been waiting to go on sale for $49 at walmart. Not too bad. Only bad experience has been shopko, who let me order the item I had been waiting all day for, and then cancelled it a 1/2 hour later!

Over 8000 page views on ebay, and only 32 sold. No wonder I can't get one. System must be bombarded.

It shows up , but when I checkout it says it isn't available.

Walmart has the PS4 with a $50 gift card. That's a pretty good deal and its available now instead of standing in line or staying up online for hours next weekend!

Where and what game is it bundled with??

I am in the market for a PS4 this year and am hoping for a good deal!

Yes,I want the PS3, which should be ok according to the exclusions, but the bundle I want includes the GTA game.

Hmm...wonder if i can use it then. Since its not the PS4?
