  4. My tree is decorated with all the ornaments my kids have made growing up. A few special ones commemorating big events or lost love ones also. I have a string of singing lights that I always use, and my angel tree topper was my grandma's.
  5. Me too! Thought I missed out on the deal and tried once more - added to cart!! I got the $87 laptop too. I'm pretty happy.
  6. I've been watching for that vacuum! Going to go for that one on friday!
  7. I don't shop at Macy's too much, but if anyone is out there looking around and happens to see some logo apparel (any items with the word Macy's on it) will you please let me know??? My daughters name is Macy and I always love it when I can catch a logo item for her!
  8. Kohls - throws, towels, comforter if needed Walmart - rubbermaid food storage container set Menards - dog toys/treats/beds, and they usually have other cool things I pick up!
  9. Thanks, that's the amazon price right now too. Just wondering it they'd go cheaper or not.
  10. Has anyone seen any sales that will be on a year playstation plus membership?
  11. I checked out with the 30 inch storage ottoman, then about an hour later got a cancellation notice. Ugh, that's all I really wanted there.
  12. I just finished my 5th order! I'm not racking up any Kohl's cash, but getting jeans, sweaters and leggings/socks for about $13 each is a good deal!
  13. Yes, I saw this, and I'm considering getting it from there, but I was going to try to get another $70 off applying for their rewards Visa (then cancelling it because who needs another credit card!). I also think Amazon might be easier to deal with if I have to return or have questions. Not sure though, haven't done much business with Best Buy.
  14. Got an email from Amazon that the Oculus Rift was at $349, clicked on it right away and its not available. Ugh.

    Menards

I wish they would put it out earlier! This is where I get the most shopping done!
  16. Do you think the Oculus Rift will stay at the sale price until Black Friday? Or is it just for a day or two with the ad release?
  17. My 13 year old son wants the Oculus Rift. Initially I said it was over budget, but he countered with - its the only present he will ask for, yada, yada, so will probably go with that. I am hoping for a deal, but not expecting one. Not that I want another CC, but I see you can get $75 off for getting a rewards card.
  18. With my immediate family, we open one at a time, rotating ring around the rosie style, so I can take pictures and see their reactions. They gather them/pass them out before opening, so each kids is sitting with their own pile, just waiting inpatiently. LOL At my extended familys Christmas, there is no set order. A couple kids usually volunteer to pass out all the presents, then usually the adults sit and watch all the kids open theirs, and then they go. Its pretty chaotic. But fun!
  19. I'm looking for one for my 16 y/o daughter because she is always taking mine. She really only uses it to watch Youtube and Netflix. Maybe online shopping. Hoping for $150 range.
  20. I have a son heading off to college next fall and thought I would maybe pick up some stuff this BF for him. He will most likely be in an apartment with a roommate or two. What are some great deals you've seen that he might need?? Only thing coming to mind is the rubbermaid food storage set walmart always has on sale.
  21. I find it hard to shop early because I don't know what the kids will want. I could get a couple little things along the way, stocking stuffer stuff, but as far as big presents, I have to wait until they make a list! And we draw names for my other family members, so I have to wait until we do that at Thanksgiving. Its hard to see good deals, and have to pass them up!
  22. I was a little miffed when I saw this email and I have always scanned my receipts and like doing it this way. But I decided to bite the bullet and try it their way, as I always pay with our debit card anyway. It was really easy to add my card to the app, and actually super easy to pay at the checkout. After I paid, the app asked if I wanted to send my reciept to savings catcher, I touched yes and I was done. But I can see where people who pay with cash might be upset. This kind of leaves them out.
  23. I don't live near a very big town, so we have very few big box stores. Our Kmart and JCPenney both closed this summer, so its dwindling down
  24. I seems like I have lived at this forum the past month for only posting 17 times! Thanks Brad!! I never win anything - you just made my Christmas!!
