My daughter is 14 and some things she is getting - personalized shampoo and conditioner from Function of Beauty, winter fashion boots, money for new clothes, new book in a series she is reading, new bed comforter and film for her instamax camera.

I got a partial shipment notice. Two things I could have easily gotten elsewhere, but threw in my cart for convienence. Hope my other things ship soon!

He is very cute. We got him for our son last Christmas. I have to admit I melt a little inside when he rolls up to me, wiggles his little self and says "mom". But like the previous poster said, his newness wears off and he isn't the most played with toy in the house. When I remind him about it, he will get him out and play with him happily for awhile. But just not a daily toy.

I like aisles. Then I can go up and down and not miss anything. I don't like the "throw everything in the middle" look. And carpet???

I do alot of shopping online, but I will venture out for Menards - they aren't online yet I also like to look at a few clothes items for sizing and fit, so will likely hit up walmart and Kohls too, but not too early.

Menards! Dollar General Bath and Body Works

We have a Shopko Hometown store, does anyone know if this ad covers those stores too or is there a special ad for the "hometown" stores?

The target site says this will be available approx. 9am CT. Perfect. I'll be right in the middle of giving flu shots with no chance of getting on a computer or phone. I guess I won't be getting one....

Menards! It never fails to have some great deals, its usually very crowded, but I've never ran into a disrespectful or rude person there!

My kids are still making their lists, and we haven't drawn names yet, so I haven't gotten much done. I did just this week order my DD some cute thirts that have been popping up on facebook. So I have 1 thing bought!

I have 2 kids asking for laptops this year and need some advice on specs I should be looking for please! DD 14 - basically plays youtube music videos, searches/shops online, would like a program to help her with her writing short stories, and maybe plays Simms once in a while. She doesn't need a bunch of space to save stuff. DS 12 - Also watches youtube, likes gaming, way more of a "computer geek" than DD. May get into some programming in a few years. Would want a better graphics system, more storage, faster processor, etc than the other. Oh and on a budget! I know my little gamer's will cost a bit more, but like to keep them under $350. Thanks for any suggestions!

Well, I wanted to doorbuster TV, so I got up at midnight for nothing! Guess I'll try again Wednesday night!

I always used to pick up the Thursday paper on the way to Thanksgiving dinner and it would have all the black friday ads and we would pass them around after eating and make lists (even though I'd seen them all here first, its fun to have the actual ad). Do you think they will be sent out earlier this year due to most stores opening Thursday? Should I start buying papers on Monday or Tuesday just to be sure?

The kids get to open their stockings and one present (always their new pj pants) on Christmas Eve. They open the rest Christmas morning and we spend the day relaxing and enjoying the gifts. We sometimes have had to move things around to accommodate the whole family getting together, but we make it work.

That's what I'm waiting for too!

I work in a school so I have plenty of time off for shopping! And DH works for the state so is always off Thursday and most of the time friday too - so he can watch the kids.

Of course, my Kohls cash expires the 11/8
