  1. Get it at Riteaid, it's on the rebate, you make $$
  2. Thanks.. I buy special K bars from there-- came to 1.75 a box of 6 delivered- cheaper than I can get in the store & no gasoline!
  3. Look on the entertainment.com web site for that zip code and see if they have a coupon. When we went to Florida, I checked the book & there was a coupon for it-- then I posted on a trade entertainment coupons site and a nice person from Michigan sent me the coupon. Was weird it was in the Michigan book but not the NJ one!!
  4. Hackensack, NJ store at 75% (closed on Sundays, so sale started today). Pretty picked over- but TONS and I mean TONs of candy. Never saw so much left.Employee said they were stuck with more candy this Christmas and Halloween then ever before. Hoping they go 90 and have some candy left in a few days ---some of it at 75% still seemed like a lot. (2.50 for 5 oz of Hershey cocao)
  5. Don't ask ...no matter how sweet you think it sounds, it won't sound right. And do you really want your employer to know that your entire Christmas depends on that money? What if you worked a job without a bonus ? (like mine, BIG company no bonuses) Buy what you need and be sure to put a little away for next year, so you aren't in this predictament!
  6. Getting an error message on the shipping and site is soooo slow.
  7. Be careful buying just any ball for a gift. There's weights and drilling and specifications, depending on the type of "ball you throw" (hook etc) DS on the bowling team-- crappy coach told him get a ball at 10% of his weight-- he was pretty good so we hired a private coach for 2 visits-- that guy immediately said the ball was too light, the wrong material etc. We ended up at a bowling shop for the right $160 ball. He got "most improved" in the county last year!!
  8. Lego has a "brickmaster" club-- it's $39.99 u get a magazine and 6 legos during the year-- wondered if anyone had it-- and if it was worth it. Also get free admission to LegoLand in CA which doesnt do me any good. Was going to order, but they charged 6.99 ship plus tax came to $45 and I really questioned the value. Anyone have it??
  9. They never know what you spend, only you know that. With all the bargains, you can get a decent amount of stuff and stay in your budget.
  10. I used my $20 giftcards from Dale Thomas to buy the 6-packs to ship in early Dec. (cost for 6 bags was $12 using the $6 free popcorn code) Will use one or two bags of popcorn plus two movie tix I got from Coke Rewards and walah....a great gift for under $5-- I didnt drink any of the coke, the folks at work pass me their caps!!
  11. And... how much of that stocking stuff do you find later in the year and never used?? I buy the same type that's been mentioned but frequently find it rolling around the house.... funny no one is buying the candy yet-- do you think it'll be more fresh closer to Christmas or is it to keep you from eating it??? Cause I bet christmas candy was made in JULY. It's been in the stores since Halloween!!!
  12. our school only does a NEW YEAR'S PARTY-- that way no religious group is offended.
  13. Can you record the Disney-type tapes? Have a load of them would really prefer them on DVD. I ONLY have rabbit ears..... will I have NO SIGNAL in Feb 09??
  14. stocking stuffer... AXE (they love the smell, it makes me puke) gum, candy clearasil..body wash...
  15. Picked up some peanuts, some small packs of cookies and coconut. I use the coconut for macroons... and it's usually kind of expensive... so for $35 this seemed good, and I dont have to lug to the store!
  16. Will only be a problem if you're one of those folks in a mortgage you should never have taken cause you really can't afford it. When that mortgage rate jumps you're screwed and if you have a crappy job you will be struggling. Hopefully, GDers are much smarter than that! I bet the avg GDer has a smaller or no mortgage than the rest of the country!! LOL.... we are cheap! ha.
  17. That's true. Lot of drug cos in NJ and they seem to have control. No bucks for prescriptions and no gift cards for transfers.
  18. Yes, Walgreens is good. I have had a few issues, and just called them. KEEP a copy. I have faxed the rebate when there is a problem and they always clear it up.
  19. Wow!!! I usually work on BF- & truly there just isn't anything I need so badly to go through all that. You guys are good.
  20. are they OLD? like over 65? food may be the best way to go... a nice display of chocolate bars in a box etc (dont waste a basket- older people have tons of baskets etc laying around) , or some candies from their youth.
  21. You cant use the 6 at once. The passes are "one free" on Mother's Day, etc. (A guy at work bot one for his son, that's how I know) specific useage.
  22. How much is shipping? I dont want to go thru filling in all the info to find out.
  23. must be by area-- I'm in NJ-- there's a few items only ... lemon pie and fruit pie at 7.49, candy for 2.59, christmas pretzels 3.99, jack o lantern cookies 4.99 and a holiday christmas tree. But thanks I'll try again sometime. Never ordered from here -- way too expensive.
