yep. that q excluded both everyday value and morning specials. almost EVERYTHING in the store had a 'morning special' sign on it. I didn't buy anything, either.

Two tix for the movies (from coke rewards) and the free coke coupon that went with it. I'll add a bag of popcorn (from the indiana popcorn pack I bot at Wags) and all done. Only doing the main teacher.

I tell them, "in life, there will always be someone richer, smarter better than you, just do your best. same goes for Christmas gifts, someone will always get more but so what." DS 8 is pretty convinced there is no Santa and I already told him things would be tight this year with job worries. I said one gift and he picked mario sluggers for wii. I was thinking of a DS so we'll see.

Mine will also start college next year-- but his applications aren't even in yet! Your dd is very lucky to get her first choice so early. Not knowing where, and with possibility he will have to fly, I am not buying anything yet. Also, add to that some places going out of business (linens and things, etc) and I am fearful of GC. Also, not knowing your DD, but if mine has 50c left on a GC he'd throw it away... Cash may seem cruel, but in this economy, it is king.

Now if they would only actually HAVE the items they advertise and not hide behind that "each store is independent" excuse.

WOw. sure gives them plenty of time to get product to the store, right? But not my store. He sells you the rebate items THEN orders them, takes a month to get. very annoying. Corporate says they are independently owned so too bad.

Ok- found the ad online and will send DH. Hope lucky charms is a choice, that's the "cereal of the day"-- our Kmart is horrible, I do avoid it. I know I can pay 50c more and go to Target and they will have it. LOL. Everybody's kmart stinks but kmart doesn't do anything to improve...

I decided to skip it this year. No one gives me a gift at work and I work an additional 60 days.... just decided they didn't need another pen. Surely, the rest of the moms will give something. It's not like I will ever see this 2nd grade teacher again, LOl

Well, THANKs. I had a $20 left from the popcorn packs I bought at Walgreens over the holidays and couldn't see a cheap way to use them. That 12 pack was a great deal. thanks again.

A few years back, Bradlees gave all after christmas returns in the form of giftcards for about a week after Christmas. Then early Jan went bankrupt== & all the cards were worthless.

THANKS. got 3 Henley sweaters at $9 each (bought for $19 during the winter and like them) used the angel card $10 .... so 3 for under $24... GREAT deal for me.. they're nice enough to wear to work on Fridays.

Received this popcorn. Disappointed the four extra bags are... Georgia Pecan and Butter toffee. to me, those are the same. I would have preferred something chocolate.
